Food taste like authentic Malaysian. Price was very reasonable. Try the appetizers and the Hainanese chicken. All the standard malaysian dish are here also; fish balls, curry chicken, bean spouts, etc.

In a generation where Asian American restaurants all start serving the same kind of boring lunch menu choices, (ie Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso Chicken) it is refreshing to see a restaurant that steps out of the overplayed box and serve different delicious morsels. Malay Asian Food is one of these gems that stand out and shine amongst it's many peers located in what is considered a highly competitive area. Besides the food being delicious and novel the manager and staff are highly attentive and such the service is wonderful. The manager also being multilingual (English, Mandarin, Cantonese) is very beneficial to my family as he can explain the dishes to my non English speaking member of my family. Definitely will return.

Came here last night with my son and and his wife. If you have not tried the peppered pork belly soup, you need to. It comes with the chicken feet and pork bones. Hot and spicy, great in the winter. The fried Tofu with satay sauce was excellent. Take a piece of the fried tofu with onion and dip in the peanut sauce, it was heaven! The Hainanese chicken rice was my least favorites. The rice lack the aroma and flavor of the chicken broth and garlic. Not bragging, but I think both my son and I cooked better Hainanese Chicken Rice. They do not have the kankong with belacan, so the server recommended A choy with belacan, it was awesome. The chef is originally from Banana Leaf. So if you like the original chef from Banana Leaf and lives in SL, great news, you need not drive to Chinatown, is there right in your neighborhood.

Chinese Malaysian food. Sizzling plate tofu was good bros of the quality. Curry casserole was delicious. Portion was a little too high but this is Texas. Nice small hole in the wall w/ homey feel.

Great Chinese, Chinese-Malay, Chinese-American dishes. All prepared hot and fresh and delicious. Some of the best food -- any kind of food -- in Sugar Land. No rude waitresses, no buns filled with pork fat and not much pork, no dirty table tops. On Hwy 6 at Dulles, in the same shopping plaza as Wellfresh Market. The best!
