Worst gym ever. The staff is rude and the manager is never available. Way overpriced and the water is never cold, screw this gym and the people running it.

Absolutely love everything about this place;the location, the staff, the gym being so exclusive with a great view of downtown, the spa providing an oasis to get away from city living for a moment, the eucalyptus steam rooms in both men/womens locker room, and the Weekend Prep Happy Hour Class on Friday. Attend the class and they'll provide a start to your Friday night shenanigans by setting out a little bubbly. Showers are also available with lockers and towels for members, day pass, or class pass people. Loved it!

From the moment I walked through the elevator into the lobby the weight of life’s burdens were lifted off my shoulders. The front staff was very courteous and informative of how my itinerary would be laid out. They informed me off all the wonderful amenities Mecca has to offer (gym, steam room, etc). I booked a massage through Jennifer. I informed her of some tension areas on my back I wanted her to focus on. She went above and beyond to ensure these specific areas were addressed and I can honestly say it feels like she constructed me new back muscles. She was very professional and at no point did I feel rushed or pressured with an up-sell. Not sure about the gym as I didn’t have the time to try it out but if you’re looking to treat yourself to a little R&R I would highly recommend giving Mecca a shot. I even booked a future appointment right after my treatment.

Pros. Amazing staff all around. Great sense of community at the gym. Albeit dated, most of the equipment you need for a good workout. They keep that place soooo clean. Best of all- amazing locker room with eucalyptus steam room- this is why I joined. Cons- a couple of notches beyond frugal.... no guest passes ($20 every time you bring in a guest), the ice machine has been broken for what seems to be an eternity, and it typically takes them a while to fix the steam room when it goes down (probably doesn’t have to do with frugality but worth mentioning.) overall a good experience, for the price, would like to be able to bring in one guest a month, and have access to cold water.
