Last year I started suffering from some type of allergy (or god knows what), and suddenly, I was no longer able to sleep a full night of sleep... I would wake up every 3 hours... this was killing me... I went to my PCP, who referred me to a Cardiovascular Doctor for a sleeping test, who referred me to Dr. Patel.... After I visited him, and with a very quick analysis and medication, my life went back to normal.... I was very very grateful for having Dr Patel helping getting normal sleep again. Apart from the treatment, Dr Patel treated me as person, with lots of attention and good interaction that you don't see in most doctors.... He is really friendly, respectful, and his communication is clear and he leaves room for doubts and answers them all. I recommend him. His team was also very helpful when dealing with minor billing issues over the phone.

Definitely an old office and old office building. Waiting room and office was clean, but kinda small and dingy. Initially a bit of a surprise given this Doc's clearly top notch credentials. But hey. . NYC real estate, right? (My tip to the office? Perhaps consider a nicer location if it's at all feasible? First impressions and all, ya know?) That said. . .Dr. Patel himself? Great guy. Paid attention. Listened. Didn't feel at all rushed and he wasn't all harried and running around all over the place. Was referred to him my primary, Dr. Doug Bailyn. (Also a good guy and highly recommended.) I feel comfortable with him and he identified, clearly, what the heck was going on with me. Recommended.
