Sherry Jordan is an amazing resource. I’ve run my own business since 1994. Over those years, I’ve been given all sorts of advice. I’ve attended countless workshops, seminars, and conferences about growing my business. None of those have been as valuable as my business planning time with Sherry Jordan. She has been my Business Coach for about 3 years now. In that time, my growth has been focused and strong. I know I would have eventually reached my goals on my own, but having Sherry as a guide has made that journey much easier and more efficient. Sherry has a great sense for looking at a business from the outside, and distilling the challenges into something recognizable. I recently had the opportunity to attend the year end planning event for small business owners presented by Sherry Jordan of the Northwest Coaching Group. Unlike many career and business planning events I have attended in the past, “Planning with Purpose” actually gave me understandable and manageable tools to systematically work through the myriad of questions to be answered in order to clearly set business goals for the upcoming year. While the amount of information seems overwhelming, the Northwest Coaching Group is right there encouraging and counseling me along the way, providing a comprehensive and challenging process to answer those questions and help me determine my goals. It has been hard work, but well worth the investment in my career.
Sherry Jordan is a real firecracker, and I'm so glad I got to work with her. I run a small business, and Sherry led a day-long workshop in business planning. During the course of the day, she facilitated a small group to think through what the next year would look like for our businesses. The content of the workshop was wonderful, but I particularly enjoyed her style, which was fun, upbeat, and enthusiastic. Personally, I find it hard to listen and follow a teacher who is boring to listen to, no matter what they are saying! But Sherry was fast-paced and interactive. I kind of expected the workshop to be lots of things I already knew, but it touched on so many of the finer aspects of running a business I had never considered. It wasn't just the surface details like hard numbers and growth plans, but also brought the under currents of running a business, like laying a solid groundwork and building meaningful referrals. There was one change I wanted to make in my business that I had been waiting to do for a long time, and I literally made that change the next day after this workshop. That felt really good.
I have had the pleasure of working with Sherry Jordan monthly for over a year now and she continues to provide me with invaluable guidance and insight as an executive coach who fully understands the challenges and pitfalls of owning a small business. I don’t know where to begin when talking about how great my experience has been with Sherry Jordan and Northwest Coaching Group. Sherry Jordan is amazing!! A friend recommended Sherry’s coaching services (NW Coaching Group) to help me establish structured and obtainable goals for my life and career, so I contacted her and set up a phone consult. Before our meeting, Sherry helped me set up an account on her website and sent me several practical goal-oriented worksheets to complete which really helped me to organize my thoughts and refine my intention. We connected via an hour-long phone appointment, and Sherry was able to hit just the right balance between guided questions and extraordinarily helpful advice.
