Founder Trish Jens grew up in the North end of Seattle and has been involved in the needle arts most of her life. One of her most deeply held beliefs is if you look good, you feel good, and your life will change for the better! In her off hours, you can find Trish teaching sewing classes for Pacific Fabrics or working on her needlepoint.

I recently had my wedding dress altered by Trish. I felt that the pricing was very deceitful. I was given a VERY wide price range for the expected cost of alterations. I was requested to make a deposit on my initial fitting and was told if the price changed I would be informed. Four fittings later I was never given any indication that the price of my alterations was increasing until my final fitting when I was informed I had a balance due that was much larger than the originally established price - for a hem and bustle - nothing fancy was done nor added to the dress. I would not recommend this business to any of my family or friends.
Trish and her team did a fantastic job with my wedding dress! I felt comfortable & beautiful on my wedding day, she gave me so many insider tips as well that made the day more smooth. I loved working with her and felt more like family than a customer! I will use her for everything in the future!!! Thanks to the amazing Tara Brown Photography for the snaps to share as well.
I honestly cannot recommend Trish strongly enough. My wife and I first started working with Trish for our wedding. She did a fantastic job on the alterations to my dress, taking great care to ensure that I would be comfortable sitting, walking, and dancing on the big day. But where she really showed her skill was with my wife’s outfit: an absolutely stunning custom designed suit and mourning coat. Trish designed and created everything you see my wife wearing in the attached photo except her shoes. We were so impressed with Trish’s work that we’ve been regular customers for three years now, going to her for everything from minor repairs and alterations to custom, one-of-a-kind clothing. She is a master of her craft, and it shows in every piece she’s made for us.
I got my wedding dress altered by Trish for my June wedding, and she did the most amazing job. Trish made my wedding dress look, and feel perfect for my special day. I would absolutely recommend Trish for any and all alteration needs.
After Trish did an amazing job with my friend's fully beaded wedding gown, I came back to her for several alterations and a custom, fitted skirt and top. I came with an idea and a fabric sample and ended up with exactly what I had envisioned, less than a month later. She was communicative along the way, shared her expertise but let me make the final call on everything, and was incredibly detailed. I ended up with two pieces that are beautifully made and a perfect fit. She is so talented, keeps her word on timing, and is always thinking three steps ahead. Trish and Christopher are absolutely lovely people and I look forward to seeing them for every appointment. I won't go anywhere else.
I highly recommend PA Jens Custom Sewing! I just took my bridesmaid dress there for alternations. Trish was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient! Her assistant Chris was very responsive and accommodating for booking appointment times. It was a great experience! The dress turned out perfect and the price was very reasonable (much less than what I paid to have my last bridesmaid dress altered at David’s Bridal.) I will go back for sure!
Trish and Team = Unstoppable and Fabulous! I have been bringing all of my Costumes to the Team for years and have recommended many to them for their Services. Chris is quick to set appointments, answer inquiries and always conducts himself in a very professional and impressionable manner, Trish and her Team of Seamstresses know my Size and Style without me even needing to be really fitted. I’ve used their services for many years. Mostly they’ve tailored clothes for me, but recently I had them make some custom bedding and it turned out GREAT! Trish truly knows her stuff, and her current assistant, Chris, is very responsive and pleasant to work with. I would recommend their services to anyone!
I had a stellar experience with PA Jens Custom Sewing. I would recommend them to anyone. Very comfortable environment, great staff, and phenomenal results! My grandmother bought me a very nice dress, but it fit me pretty poorly and the material kept gathering at the small of my back making a little ruffle and it was way too big in the waist. When I asked Trish what was causing the issues, if my butt was too big or what, she not only was able to explain that the dress was snug in the bust causing the pull, but stopped me right there and made it very clear there wasn't anything wrong with me. I have a classic hourglass shape, but I suffer from being a little body dysmorphic which has only been reinforced by my inability to find clothes off the rack. She brought to my attention that I was approaching the situation like I was causing the dress to be ill-fitting, but it was just the dress that needed to change, not me. Which I really needed to hear, and Trish also gave me awesome tips for finding tops. In one fitting she was able to fix the gathering issue and take in the waist so I didn't have to belt it, and it looks killer! I have gotten countless compliments, not on the dress itself, but how awesome I look in it. Chris let me know the second it was done and is professional and super efficient. I am very happy with my overall experience.
