In 2014 three South Africans opened Panbury’s, a unique gourmet pie shop and new high quality fast food concept in America. Their goal was to create delicious, wholesome pies using traditional cooking techniques, fresh, healthy ingredients and international flair! Panbury’s is bringing the tradition of the hand pie to America by recreating South African, British and Australian favorites in a new style.

I ordered the chicken and bacon pies. The crust is good but the filling is mostly dark meat. I was expecting white meat chicken. I would not recommend if you are not a fan of dark meat chicken.
If you like savory food wrapped in flaky pastry, this place is your heaven. Really interesting and tasty use of spices. Apple pie was great, too.
Friend asked me if I wanted something from this place and I said sure. I had no idea it was going to be this good and savory! It was Uber eats but now I can’t wait to visit the actual business! Yummy!!
Omg! What a great find. I was happy to know both locations are walking distance from my job. I've tried the pepper steak, veggie thai curry and the southern pecan pies. All of them were sooooooo yum!!! I have never in my life purchased hand pies so well made and tasty. The pepper steak was really tender and flavorful as well as the thai veggie.
I've never had anything as delicious.......AMAZING!!
We had an office party catered from here and it was awesome. I ate like 6 different types of pies and they were all good. The tikka masala was really unexpected but my favorite.
Great pies and I loved the peach pie with oat crisp. One of the best peach pies I've ever tasted and the prices are GREAT! I read the review about African Americans but they were genuinely kind to us with great service. Will definitely return!
Steak and stout was fabulous with the ceasar salad. Tender steak bursting with flavor. Caesar salad had too many hard $$a croutons but nonetheless I enjoyed my lunch. 👍
Pies are always good and you can tell that they take great pride in preparing and displaying their pies! Customer Service is excellent and consistent! Thank you!
This place is so amazing and special. The pies taste fresh and the ingredients are high quality. I like to drop by here after happy hour because you get the second pie 1/2 off. My personal faves are the Shepard’s pie and the country chicken. They also serve dessert pastries, such as apple pie. The staff is super friendly! If you are a pastry fiend like I am, this place is definitely for you!
I ordered the southern breakfast pies for thanksgiving morning. It was so amazing. Everyone enjoyed breakfast and it didn’t mess up the kitchen and the flavor of the ingredients was so much better than I expected from a frozen item. Highly recommended and have already sent some for Christmas gifts!
