Peli Peli Vintage Park, Houston, USA, April 2024

This was hands down one of the best lunch dining experiences we have had in a while. I took my 3 kids and best friend and we had the best food. We have never had South African food in any capacity and this was so good. We had the bobotie sampler fried lemon pepper calamari and the Peli Peli wings. I had 4 of the pickiest eaters with me and EVERYONE loved the food. Lupe was our server and was extremely knowledgeable about the food and answered all of our questions to pick the best choices on the menu. We will definitely be back for more!!!!!

I love this place! And the waiter (JULIA) knew her stuff and was very helpful because I had no idea what to get. A nice first time experience!

We ate here for the first time tonight for our anniversary. Everything was phenomenal! The service was amazing, food was perfect and arrived quickly, and the atmosphere was wonderful! Our waiter’s name was Sebastian and he was awesome!! Everything he recommended was delicious and he had a great personality. We will definitely be back!

This place was amazing. The food was cook to perfection. Staff was on point with the service. More importantly we didn't get there to later in the evening. They treated us like we where the first guest of the day. The place was clean, the food was hot and freash. So if you haven't been make plans with that special someone and make night of it. I do not receive any discounts of any kind of compensation for my reviews. I am just a regular customer just like you. I appreciate value, good service, and cleanliness.

Food: Delicious, but let's be honest, I only ate the one item Service:. Friendly, prompt, and not overbearing. Ambience: Classy, but not off-puttingly so. Reasonably quiet. Nice decor. Low key lighting. Overall:. It's a really nice place, I'd go back again.

Had a wonderful family dinner. Our server, Chase, was excellent. Great service and great food. Love the designations for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free on the new menu. Had the grilled cauliflower steak and sides. The sauce with the cauliflower is amazing.

I just finished the most wonderful birthday dinner with my dad. It was my first time at Peli-Peli, and my parents definitely did NOT over-hype the place. What a treat! The cocktails are wonderful, the food is to die for, the ambiance is the perfect balance of upscale without being uptight, and the service is impeccable. Julie, our server, was energetic, attentive, and never once made us feel rushed. It felt like we were her only table despite the fact that the restaurant was full. I will definitely be back to Peli-Peli and I recommend it for any occasion, from date night to a rehearsal dinner to a Tuesday evening “just because” happy hour and dinner. And definitely ask for Julie!

Very accommodating restaurant. Entire staff was polite & friendly. Manager was great and our server, Michael was fantastic. 5 stars & 5 thumbs up! Love this place. Will visit again when we're back in town. Thank you all so much for such a great experience!

This used to be our favorite place. They've completely changed the menu. Food quality isn't the same, prices are more. Got rid of some signature dishes that we would come here for. Catered to more vegan dishes. Disappointed to say the least.
