While living in New York City, Dr. Kamel graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia College of Columbia University and attended Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Kamel moved to Chicago to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and was recognized as the outstanding member of his intern class with the Walter A. Rambach Award.
