The most pleasant colonoscopy experience I could have ever imagined! Dr. Mehta was patient, kind, and professional. He made me feel so very comfortable while going forward with a procedure I was dreading. He spent a good amount of time talking with me during our office visit, explaining every step. After all was said and done, it was painless, as promised. If you are dragging your feet, like I was, to get a colon cancer screening, wait no longer. :) Call Dr. Mehta's office today!

Quite possibly the kindest, nicest and most professional GI doctor and doctor in general that I have been treated by. I had to be hospitalized and he arrived at the hospital for an emergency endoscopy on thanksgiving day. He is always very quick to give you test results and help you with your medication and treatment. There will probably be a wait when you visit Dr. Mehta, but this is only because he takes all the time needed with each patient to discuss your situation and answer every question you have. Well worth the wait! Front desk could be a bit more friendly.

At each of my 3 appointments (one a procedure at a hospital)I have had to wait over an hour past the appointment time. My time with the doctor felt rushed and like he did not have the time to listen to my concerns. At my follow up appointment I felt like the whole experience was completely pointless as all I given was a diagnosis with no clear cause.

Dr. Mehta was professional and direct. The nurses in the outpatient center even confirmed what a good doctor he is. Great experience.

Dr. Mehta has been awesome with me. He takes his time to explain my condition and treatments. He can at times be hard to understand however when I ask him to explain again he does so with patience. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great, compasionate and knoweledgeable gastroenterologist.

I could not be seen because I was short. I thought $20. copay and it was $60. I had already waited 45 minutes. They would not accept less cash or bill me. I asked for my TXDL and insurance card back and this is when the wheels came off the bus! They lost them. First trying to claim I never gave id/ins cards to them. Next claiming they must have already given back cards. And was I SURE! that I didn't have them?!! I hate it when people assume I'm forgetful because I'm in my mid 60's. After another 30 minutes of wasted time they stopoed looking. "We cannot gelp you." So I called my insurance company to report the need for new card ASAP and why. Everyone in the office waiting room could hear my complaint. I wasn't leaving without my cards. After 2 hours of this fiasco the doctor came out of his office. He actually looked around and found photocopy of my cards still in the copy machine! He said he would see me FOR FREE.... right now and no charge. I had to drive across town for copy of TXDL and pay for that! and6 months later he sent me a bill!!! I will never get those those 4 HOURS back.

I have seen him once for an issue. My first appointment was delayed for over an hour and I never received an update on results. I paid the bill but had to call twice to correct them still saying it was owed (KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!) I recently made a new appointment for the same issue and a few days before my appointment I was called stating he would not be working that late and it had to be moved up, I cancelled it because of conflict and the receptionist blew me off and pretty much just hung up on me- did not even ask to reschedule. He seems to be a good doctor that over books his appointments and is unorganized (possibly because they have multiple offices?). I am frustrated with the whole ordeal. He is obviously picking quantity over quality, which is greedy.

Dr. Mehta has a wonderfully reassuring presence. He is clearly very strict with his medical protocols. He shows great concern for whatever is found that is not perfect. His explanation of pathology reports and his suggestions for ongoing health are, again reassuring. After working with a number of other gastro guys, I am very happy to have Dr. Mehta on my side!

Dr.Mehta is very thorough and polite. He is patient and takes the time to answer questions. Very kind and compassionate. The office staff is very friendly as well. He has seen both of my parents and I been with them almost every appointment and he is always patient & kind. He is an excellent gastroenterologist! I am very satisfied on how he has taken care of my parents.
