Nice little spot. I got the black rice, fried plantain and a huge fried fish to go. The place is small with limited seating. The food was very good! I'm still smiling about my fried fish two days later!!!

I spent $32 for plate of salty food. The goat meat taste salt and the macaroni & cheese has a lot of salt, the rice taste has maggi cube. I threw up after I ate the food. Be careful with the salty found. Found a strand of hair in my chicken in sauce.

I am originally from the south. It is hard to find good food up north. First time customer. I am 100% happy and full. I will be back.

Pikliz is the best! I got the Jerk Pork with rice and beans and mac n’ cheese and it was amazing. The spice is perfect! Other family members got curry chicken and goat and enjoyed every bite. The vibe is very relaxed and it was a great place to visit, will definitely return!

The food here is excellent, and they are surprisingly affordable for Somerville + easy to get to on the bus (89 , 101). They have a $5 Special for your choice of chicken and rice which is more then enough for one person. I chose the stewed chicken with rice and beans and I couldn't be happier. I easily saved myself $3 over all the burrito and taco places nearby and was able to try something new. I loved it

I got the fried goat with okra and plantains, and frankly I was blown away! It was called to perfection, seasoned but not too much, crispy and moist at the same time. Truly a gem, and honestly one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Boston. (I used Uber Eats.)
