There are several great gastroenterologists in this area, but most of them seem to be too busy. In fact, I've been on hold with one for almost 20 minutes just to cancel an appointment I made before I chose Dr. Din. I was able to see Dr. Din the same week I called . . . and he is a great doctor. He is very personable and takes the time to explain things clearly. The office staff are both professional and very friendly. Seeing Dr. Din was a great experience . . . and you can't always say that about seeing the doctor, that's for sure.

Dr. Din seemed very good on the initial visit I had for my periodic colonoscopy. However, the billing person billed the wrong insurance company for that initial visit. (Like a lot of federal people, my insurance changed during open season at the beginning of this year, but not before my initial doctor's visit.) As they were the wrong insurance company, they refused the bill and the billing person sent me a bill for a couple hundred dollars. When I called, the billing person claimed she could not bill the correct insurance company, Blue Cross, because there was something wrong with Blue Cross. (If you can't bill Blue Cross, should you be in the medical billing business?) After a couple months of dealing with this nasty angry person, I got Blue Cross to call her and guide her through billing Blue Cross. The Blue Cross person noted how nasty and angry the doctor's billing person was. I never received a final statement from the doctor's office, though Blue Cross did send me a statement saying I no longer owed anything. I just called the doctor's office, hoping they had replaced the billing person, but they indicate they had not. I think I should just forget the $75 I paid for the initial visit and the $100+ I paid for the prep kit and find someone else who has reasonable people in their billing department.

The experience that I had the first time that I came into the office was awesome. I came in searching for a new gastroenterologist, I just wanted information about him and to make a "Get to know him appointment." Well my experience of just walking up to the receptionist was beyond inviting. Needless to say I made my appointment, was given some paperwork to read over outlining the expectations of the patient's working in conjunction with the doctor for a better outcome. When the day came for my initial appointment and I met Dr Din he immediately made me so comfortable. His caring soft spoken tone made it very easy to talk to him. You can tell that he and his staff cared about your ongoing care. Before he went any further he scheduled another appointment so that it would give him the time to back track through my entire gastrointestinal treatment from my former doctor plus go through test previously taken by my previous doctor and at the hospital. To my surprise he was able to go deep into it. And I've had nothing but a positive experience every sense. I highly recommend Dr Din to anyone in need of a gastroenterologist. Thank you so much so much for all of my care from the front door, to the back exam rooms and every 0pace in between.

An emergency at my job occurred, so I called the Doctors office and left messages that I would not be able to make my appointment. When I made my next visit, the office manager and I agreed that I would not be liable to pay the 'no show' fee. Unfortunately, I just found out that this office still sent the agreed upon 'no show' fee to a trashy collection company who I just found out put the fee on my credit. Bad way to do business! Why kill your future appointments and referrals for 50 bucks? Very short-sighted!!
