The mango chicken lacked mango flavor and cost $10 with rice. While I did not have the best first impression of this restaurant it is close to city hall and is an option for people who can afford it. I hope they have garlic & ginger chicken with garlic fried rice with egg. It was convenient however as there was no one in line to order. If a date wants to treat me to this place I would let them but won't order the mango chicken until it tastes like mango.

I tried their food twice . The first time I asked them if they had a dish using coconut milk and basil. They pointed at a dish that SUCKED . The meal came separated so we had to put it together . I liked that idea BUT the sauce in the cup was terrible. There was a pile of veggies I could not identify it was overcooked. . No coconut milk or basil in sight . I gave them the benefit of a doubt and returned. This time I was supposed to receive a red curry dish. YUCK . It was not even red curry. The lamb was overcooked and tough. A couple pieces had enough fat to eat after being cooked too much I could tell the lamb would have tasted alright if it was cooked right. I wiped off the yucky sauce and ate those pieces the rest was officially garbage. Plus the rice was overcooked to a mush . How can they screw up rice ? I suppose they do not use a rice cooker. They will not get a third chance. Maybe it was a huge coincidence or maybe they just have a bad cook at the hours I visited. I went at around 6 PM . I did not order by phone I walked in. Around 6 PM Never did complain in person it is not my style using reviews is my style .It is less confrontational . PEACE

Every single person that works here is Filipino, it would be difficult for most people to detect the illusion when Filipinos and Burmese look alike. Food wise, every dish recipe is soysauce, sugar, basil and garlic. Basil Chicken, Basil, eggplant, Basil Beef, Basil pork, Basil Vegetarian, Basil Basil, Basil water, lol. I jokingly commented on that issue and the owner claimed the cook is Burmese and ask me whether I want to meet them. Once I said yes, she spoke to him in Tagalog. What sorcery is this

Food was excellent and lovely service. My only "con" observation is there was no atmosphere and quite bland decor. Otherwise food was good, fairly priced and nice presentation.

Chile Basil Lamb was delicious, as was the Burmese Basmati Rice. The Burmese Pad Thai was good but nothing special. A great place to dine before the symphony or opera. The prices were on the high end.

This reminds me of my friend's family cooking growing up. So delicious. Had the beef curry and the sticky rice for dessert. Absolutely fantastic. Couldn't ask for more.

The service was great and super friendly, offering free vegetable soup. The entree I got, broccoli beef, tasted only average though. The portion is huge.
