Company Description

You have heard about the beautiful Burmese Cats and Burmese Pythons. We are glad that in recent years Burmese food is also coming into the picture. A South East Asian country about a size of Texas, tucked between India and China, is a home to various ethnic tribes and distinct cultures.

Really good food, and some unique flavors I haven't tasted in other cuisines. Try the tea leaf salad for sure! Eggplant curry was excellent, as was the chicken curry. Everything we had was really good, although the chicken curry noodles were a bit salty.

This is just what we needed one cold evening in Portland. As you are entering, you know you're in for a warm wonderful meal. Very small place but very cozy- there's just something about the ambience here that we loved. And the food was a notch better. The samosas and green leaf tea salad were great starters. The paratha with beef Curry and the chicken curry with rice were so so delicious. And even the Burmese lemonade reminded me of the Indian lemonade I miss so much. Just wow!

Very cute and cozy spot. Loved the decor. The menu isn't huge but it's well-labeled for those who eat vegan. Several vegan options too. Server was efficient and friendly.

Very sweet spot and the food is good too. It's a bit dark at the entrance. So more lights would be good. The tea leaf salad was delicious.

Absolutely delighted in every last bite of my chicken curry + coconut rice + side of paratha. It was so good, I didn't get any pictures... you'll have to see and try for yourself! This was my first time eating Burmese and I was definitely not disappointed.

Small and quaint space. Seems to get quite busy during dinner time. Samosas use a thinner wrapper than the doughy North Indian version (a good thing). Chicken curry and parathas were tasty as well.

Tucked into a small space in an already crowded neighborhood this spot doesn't do anything pretentious Straight up great food and exceptional service. They accommodated all our food restrictions and were super attentive and nice. Highly recommend the ginger salad. The space is tight and feels very crowded but the comforting food makes it worth it.

Top Burmese is top notch. Small, quiet, warm, welcoming. Every dish we tried was superb. The tea leaf salad was unbelievably good, better and better with every bite. 💘

Wonderful place to eat. We loved the food and the family that runs the restaurant was very friendly stopping by tables and talking to guests. The food was delicious. We tried and enjoyed the paratha, tea leaf salad, and okra curry, I would recommend all three. The mood of the restaurant is cozy, and the food is warming with a homemade feel. I would definitely recommend this to any interested, and if one had to drive to get here I would say it is worth it if you enjoy or are curious about Burmese food.
