Good food, but the service reminded me of a typical Vietnamese restaurant, after your food arrives, the waitstaff doesn’t return. My daughter and I liked the food and she raves about the bathroom at the hotel. No lines no waiting on Independence Day evening (4th restaurant we checked out on that street. I’d go back, but the wife doesn’t want to.

The food and drinks were good, but the wait staff was not. I was ignored for a while before being seated and the server was unfriendly. Also, Google says the restaurant is a one $, but it definitely $$.

The staff was very friendly. The service was great. I had the Irish meatloaf with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. It was amazing! We sat out on the patio and it was really nice. I would definitely go again.

Came here just for a couple of drinks after a conference - and this review is only for the small bar in the front, but a cool place! Lively crowd, bartender was very professional, and the Fiddlehead on tap is highly recommendable. Check it out if you’re in the area and need a place to pop in for a drink or two. Pints are around $8.

Good beer. Average prices for neighborhood. Good atmosphere - busy but not too busy. Small. Very much a "pub".

Was really set up to be a excellent dining experience, the food was amazing possibly some of the best Irish food I've ever had. Our waitress, receipt says Isha, after not being able to make a recommendation for food, proceeded to ignore us until well after our food was delivered. When we asked for a drink refill she said no problem and never returned until she brought our check. at that time I requested a refill on my drink, coke, again with the check. She brought out a drink that had very clearly run out of syrup. I am in town for 5 days and intended to have another meal here after enjoying some of the food however with the service as bad as it was I will not be returning.

Great food. Cuban Cigars (eggrolls) are superb. Service is lacking. Manager was in our area a few times, never spoke.

This was a very cool place. The decor is amazing even if a tad too dimly lit. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. I enjoyed a Long Island iced tea and the Reuben. The drink was tasty but somehow felt weaker than normal. The Ingredients on the Reuben were piled high and it was a joy to eat, but I would call it average. Overall the experience was very nice, and I will definitely go back to try more of the drink and food menus. I recommend it!

Solas holds a special place in my heart as it was the place my husband and I went right after we got married. We wanted an informal and intimate wedding at city hall, and after taking our vows and taking a relaxed stroll through the commons, a thunder storm rolled in. We thought we could make it back to our car which was parked on Mass Ave without getting absolutely soaked. We were wrong, so we ducked into Solas for a celebratory drink and to wait out the storm. The staff laughed with us as we ran in looking like wet dogs in some nice clothes. They asked where we came from and we let them know that we had just gotten married. They treated us to champagne and dessert and held a cheers for us across the bar. We truly did not expect such special treatment. It was truly an unforgettable day. I know that is a one off experience but I will never forget it. On the regular day I will head into Solas for delicious fish and chips, a Guiness or an Irish coffee on a cold day. It has a very comfortable feel and is a regular go to!
