Had the Veal Zurich. It was wonderful. Probably the best meal I have had here. The others at my table all had something different, and everyone thouroughly enjoyed their meals.

Living close by in Lake George, I frequently drive past the Swiss Chalet. The ambiance is charming, the food prepared well, and the service is superb. Of course the view of Pikes Peak is breathtaking. Limited food selection, but sufficient varieties to choose from. Highly recommended.

We come to the Swiss Chalet every year during Vail Oktoberfest. We were disappointed that they no longer have the appetizer cheese fondue. As a result we had to get it as a entree which comes with both bread and a very generous amount of vegetables. We were too full to order another entree, and we missed being able to have our weinersnitzel. We did have a salad, plus a dessert called Heisse Liebe (which translates to hot love). It has a hot raspberry/rum sauce, vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream and fresh raspberries. We would have come back the next night to have that dessert again, but they are closed on Mondays. The service is amazing, and they check on you every 3-5 minutes. We can't wait to come back next year.

Very nice atmosphere. The waitress was pleasant. We ordered the special which was prime rib. My only thought is the piece of prime rib could have been more generous. It was done perfect and again our waitress was friendly and professional.

Very good German food! Nice menu selection both with food and wine. Per glass wine prices were in line. Nice ambiance and good service. We will most likely return when we visit the area.

We were looking for some German style food an Swiss Chalet was the only option in town. The customer service was excellent, the food was also. Like all the other reviews I felt the process were a bit high, but we're pretty in line for the area which has been consistently high. I won't likely go back, but that is because I am not from the area and like to try new places and not because I was disappointed. One word of caution, the tomato bisque is very chunky, in an on purpose way and not smooth which surprised us.

This place is pretty good! In a bit of an odd area right off of the highway but it has good seating inside and out. The kitchen fan is kind of noisy but hard to notice inside. Salad is good. Prices are a bit high but the food is always good.

Cute place. And, quite honestly...THE BEST Reuben I have ever had!!! Hubby was crazy about his burger...the Swiss Onion Soup and french fries were also incredible!! Next time I'm in Woodland Park, I'm definitely stopping by again. I gobbled my food before I thought to snap a photo, but the presentation was also amazing. Eat here!!!
