Our son took piano lessons from Becca and she was an AMAZING teacher. We've since moved from Portland, but if we were still there he would definitely still be taking lessons with her. She's EXTREMELY patient (which was huge, since he started at age 5) and found a way to motivate him when we couldn't. We super love Becca!

I highly recommend Becca as a piano instructor. She has been teaching my three kids ages 10-15 since 2012. Her ability to work with young beginning players and more advanced students is commendable. With a mix of patience and positivity Becca encourages her students as they study music theory, composition, and performance. My kids like that Becca is willing to adjust her teaching based on their interests and goals.

Our children have been taking lessons from Becca for a few years and now Lisa. Becca does a wonderful job at not only teaching, but fully supporting our childrens' love of music. She and Lisa are masterful in inspiring our children to do their best with attention to their individual skill level.

My daughter really enjoys working with Lisa. Her approach is amazing and has really provided the support my daughter wants and needs. Lisa is open to adding music that my daughter wants to learn. I am thankful that we found Vesper at the Belmont Street Fair; and, that my daughter is having so much fun learning how to play the piano.

My nine year old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Becca for 6 months. We have had a marvelous experience with Becca as her teacher. The lessons are teaching my daughter to read music and play songs that are difficult but age appropriate at the same time. Our entire experience with Vesper School of Music has been amazing! All communication has been clear and timely, and scheduling has been prompt and accommodating. I would suggest Vesper School of Music to anyone who is interested in music lessons.

My daughter has been taking lessons at Vesper for 4 months and we have both been so pleased with her experience. She takes awhile to warm up to new people but instantly fell in love with her teacher Todd and it seems like a great fit ! As I child I took lessons and was so bored playing exactly what was in the lesson book and never was able to choose anything I was interested in. My daughter was able to figure out a few songs on her own and was so proud to bring them in to show her teacher. I'm so glad that their is room for both technical piano training along with letting the children be inspired and play something that makes them excited about playing ! We are so thankful we ended up at Vesper and have told many of our friends with children about it. Thank you Vesper for educating the next generation of musicians.

This is the third year my kids (8 & 10) have taken lessons at Vesper and they love it. We’ve had two great teachers who have kept it fun and flexible (my daughter is trying out viola after 2 years on piano) while rigorous. I highly recommend Vesper.
