This was by far the most disorganized and extremely mishandled move I have ever experienced and I've moved a total of 12 times over my lifetime, but this was the first time using this company. I used a team of 6 individuals scheduled for 4 days and after day 2, I canceled their services after only being partially moved. My floors, stairs, walls were severely damaged and scratched in both my old and new residences, they did not use any protectors and were very sloppy in general. They did not have the proper equipment or enough equipment (and only had one dolly for 6 movers that had a flat tire). Most of the time, 2-3 of the movers were goofing off or hiding somewhere so they did not have to work, as it was difficult for me to manage all 6 workers every moment of the day. Many items were damaged and broken and misplaced or lost. They unnecessarily wrapped non breakable items "i.e. plastic items and tubberware" that were not breakable, wasting both time and materials (and money) and then they did not wrap items that were breakable causing many valuable pieces to be damaged and broken. They showed up almost an hour late both days and did not fairly charge for the time/rate/ breaks taken by the movers. They consistently mismanaged their time and did not work efficiently in any situation during the move, even throwing my items aggressively towards the end of the day because they were tired and frustrated. This company is dishonest, unprofessional and caused a lot of headaches that I'm still cleaning up. I purchased the insurance plan and they refuse to file the claim and have ignored my request for their insurance information so I can self-file. This company also operates under the name American Movers. I strongly recommend using any other moving company but this one.
Movers beware, I called around several moving companies to get an idea of pricing and to find an accredited company that would be on time, careful and honest. Well, if you are looking for honesty go somewhere else. This company will charge you for extra hours and not provide you with a receipt at the end of the job. This makes it very hard to prove their dishonesty. At the end of the job I was billed a specific number of hours, which was agreed to and signed. About a week or two later I get a bill for more hours than I had originally signed for. Basically this is fraud to alter a signed document like this but the problem is they have you sign a movers phone digitally and do not provide you with any receipt until they decide what they want to bill you. I would look in every other direction than here if you want to be billed properly and deal with an honest company. I have spoken with several people at Altitude Movers to no avail. At first they acted like they were going to make a correction/reimbursement but after repeated calls back the people there have just ignored me. Again, go somewhere else as they will decide whatever hours the want to bill you and you will have no way to dispute this as they do not provide you with a receipt of any kind at the end of the job.
Sean, Anthony and John were so polite, professional and efficient. They moved quickly but with care and made sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend this team of movers!
Stallion provided us with a very professional move last September. Even the drenching rainstorm wasn’t able to stop them. Best of all, there was no water damage incurred. All items were accounted for and every box and furniture was dry… including the large sectional that we have. The moving crew as courteous and efficient in completing our move within the time frame they’ve promised.
Happy with my experience from the movers. I was impressed how quickly the movers managed to unload across three flights of stairs and a walkway from the truck.
We had a refridgerator moved from Centennial to Castle Rock. Sean and David arrived promptly, were extremely courteous and moved the fridge in without any damage. They had to remove our front door and the fridge handles to get it in the house but did that without complaint or frustration. This is a very professional company and I will be calling them for our in town move. I will also ask for Sean and David to be our movers.
This is a great moving company! Anthony & Josh did a wonderful job moving my stuff for me. They showed up on time & ready to go to work! I highly recommend them!
Nine hours to move 600sq feet 4 blocks away. Absolute nightmare of a moving experience. Where to begin? The owner who is also the mover and quote giver estimated about $300 to move my 600 sq ft 1 bedroom 4 blocks away. I had everything packed well and disassembled for the move including having a time slot to reserve the elevator. Owner was 4 hours late to the move! Which meant we had no reserved elevator. Him and his buddy took literally 5 hours to move 600sq feet of packed/disassembled furniture not 4 blocks away, and then had the audacity to act as if him only charging me for 4 hours was doing me a favor. DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!! I have called the Better Business Bureau and will be fighting this in court.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would give it a 0 if I could. Scheduled a move 2 weeks prior to the move date. Called multiple times to confirm our move no answer. I would think a moving company would make it a priority to be there especially when being paid a good amount of money. This wasted an entire day off. It is incredibly rude to waste people’s time especially when you can’t even get ahold of them. Probably the worst costumer service I’ve ever dealt with. Is the company closing? Is that why no one answers when they are open? Save yourself the frustration and go with another company!
