They are horrible, no compassion here! Letting people leave saying they are going to kill theirself! How is this the only place for people on Medicaid to get help in this town! Sounds like a racket to me. Who is the CEO of this place I would like their number!! Julie Rucker

They worked with and paid attention to my wife while she was there. They went above and beyond to help my wife when she was in a bad way. They have caring staff and will work with spouses of patients.

Spent 0 time on a patient, let them have a razor and a full sized toothbrush. All the doors was locks on them, so if someone wanted to kill themselves, you'd never be able to get to them. Allowed a walk-in to walk out without having seen a single councilor. Worst place ever.

I have had good and bad experiences with this place. In the acute crisis unit the staff was very caring and the psychiatrist I see there at outpatient is pretty good but the peer support crisis center was a bad experience.

This place is nothing but crap. Reason one this place have let my wife out while she was on a 72 hour hold. A day after she was admitted. Last time I checked you people are not allowed to let the person leave until their hold is up. Aspen Point light house is nothing. You guys violated the law. Not only that you guys have let a psychopath out of your care which was also on a hold. If these people hurt themselves it will fall back on you. I promise you that. You jackasses

I am 38 years old, a business professional and, my wife and I have genetic mental illnesses and severe PTSD from childhood abuse. Neither of us have received or needed medicaid assisted healthcare before. After moving here from OKC, our lives went into a downward spiral and we went from destined to destitute in a few days. We lost everything and it was hard to take nor our fault. We became homeless almost overnight and did not know what to do worldly or mentally. Hopelessness soon took over our conditions and after trying to tough it out without help, it began burning us down. We came here expecting poor treatment as opposed to our doctors and therapists that we have grown close to back home which were on our corporate insurance plan. Apprehensively, we visited here and were completely blown away by the treatment from the staff! The receptionist cared and made it a fluid and streamlined entry. Most importantly, she was friendly, understanding, and caring. No judgements. They helped us sign up for Medicaid and made it simple! The counselors Nicole and Ben were amazing counselors but most importantly to me, incredible people! THEY SINCERELY CARED FOR US! They went above and beyond what was expected as far as taking our situation seriously. Nicole gave us resources to start over and helped my wife tremendously. She was in a bad way due to the recent loss of a child that had scratched the surface of painful repressed childhood memories. I can't thank them enough for helping change the course of our lives. Sometimes all human beings need help. I was someone who never expected to be in this situation at all. From the receptionist to the security guards (which even they were talkative, caring, and helpful) to the counselors, THANK YOU FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE! You guys who have commented negatively on the reviews here, I am so sorry for your misperceptions. I was not only pleasantly surprised by their treatment and professionalism, I was moved... I will never forget what they did for us and I am going to devote my future to being someone who helps others with mental illness by changing my 22 year career in sales and business management into becoming a mental health advocate and or counselor. They helped me find my calling. Thank you for your compassion and TRUE care. You can go to school for years and learn from all the books and tests but, you can't teach sincerity. It's impossible to think that this place could EVER GET A NEGATIVE REVIEW FROM ANYONE WHO IS IN HERE FOR HONEST REASONS??? Just my opinion... good luck to everyone associated with this place. You deserve it!

It's 6pm. I was advised by my son's therapist to bring him to crisis at 10:30am and thus far we've only sat is a room with the travel channel playing. What kind of crisis do you have to be in to get help before the eight hour mark. This is so counter productive I can't quite verbalize it properly. Utterly irritated. This is not helpful by any stretch of the imagination. Well beyond disappointed.

I came 15 minutes early to my Aspen Point appointment and they said I was "late" because new patients have to be 30 minutes early. I already printed all my paperwork and had it filled out, but they still rescheduled me

Almost all of my experiences have been terrible here, I have come here because I clearly feltni need help and mental stability I believed that the staff here would be helpful, kind, assertive and understanding, within the first two minutes of me speaking with the initial counselor het and I already had gotten into a heated debate about poverty and views I personally had that she can not change whether she liked or not. I had already felt her standoffish vibe when she walked in and she did not ask to bring an observer she just told me. I needed to go to an impatient trama rehabiucenter and she could careless, I told her mentally I was struggling and I wanted to hurt myself and she still turned me away.
