BIOGRAPHY Since 1999, Band of Gold has entertained audiences in metro Atlanta and the entire Southeast with their wide variety of music from the 1940's to today. From DJs, soloists, and jazz trio to our full, 10 piece dance band, Band of Gold creates the perfect atmosphere for elegance and excitement making them one of the top bands in Atlanta for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, private parties and festivals. Band of Gold recently won the Wedding Industry Experts Award for The Best Live Band In Georgia and The Knot's "Best Of Weddings" award. The band is also a 6-time recipient of WeddingWire.com's "Bride's Choice Award" placing them in the top 5% of wedding professionals in the country.

Band of Gold played at an event at our church this summer and they did an awesome job. The music they played was just what everyone wanted to hear and the quality was AMAZING! They are individually great musicians and together a great band. I highly recommend them for any event where you need live music!
It's a no brainer ~ This is THE band to hire for your next event! Neighbors/friends are still talking about what a fantastic time they had at our wedding reception Comments like, "I've never heard such a great/ rockin' band in Black Mountain." "My husband even got on the dance floor!" They were rockin' from the moment they started til the "The Last Dance." They have a playlist of over 300 songs and even learned songs that I had requested - when I heard them I smiled from the inside out. My son looked up the lyrics to Kenny Loggins' "Forever" and was really touched. Rachel Platten's "Better Place" was perfect. Jackie Wilson's Your Love Keeps Lifting me Higher, and others. They had so many people singing along with them..and non-dancers were found moving on the dance floor! I can't thank Kris Bayne and his Atlanta Band of Gold enough for such a memorable party. They nailed it!
