Don't hire this band if you even think you could possibly have an unexpected problem come up.My son hired Emerald Empire for their wedding Sept 9th at Wild Dunes Resort unfortunately because of Hurricane Irma the resort forced them to change the date to Friday the 8th or cancel the wedding when my son contacted Richard and explained the situation Richard could only provide a saxophone player for the second line and the worst DJ I have ever seen at an event Richard refuses to refund any money and my son paid him in full a week before the wedding because he wanted his bride to have the one thing she wanted a great party band to make the night unforgettable Well Richard said he couldn't find even a 3 piece band to play so when he says he has all these great musicians he can connect with don't believe him. When there's a problem all Richard will do is take the money and run
Emerald Empire Band played at my wedding at The Homestead at Cloudland Station this past month (June 2017). Kelly is who I worked with when planning the event and he did a phenomenal job! Everything was very organized and he responded to all of my emails within 12 hours. He called me multiple times before the event to make sure he had all of the details worked out and even the correct pronunciation of names of people in the wedding party. The band arrived on time, learned particular songs that I wanted to be played, and sounded amazing! We had 220 guests and everyone could not stop complimenting how great the band was. I would highly recommend using Emerald Empire Band!
I had the pleasure of working with Richard and the Emerald Empire Band for my wedding on May 20, 2017. We could not have chosen a better band for our reception! We decided early on to spend more money for a live band versus hiring a DJ, but the problem was there are so many wedding bands out there. However, once my husband and I read about Emerald Empire Band and listened to their music we instantly knew we had to hire them. Their resume is extremely impressive, the have a wide variety of musicians, they perform a wide variety of genres, and everything they perform is SPECTACULAR. On the night of our reception they played four different sets and almost all of my guests were on the dance floor. Every guest I talked to about the music told me (A) that the music was their favorite part of the night and (B) Emerald Empire Band was the best band they had every heard perform at a wedding. Personally, I was most impressed by the energy they emitted to the crowd and how they fed off of the energy given right back to them by my guests. It was obvious the musicians were having just as much fun as we were! Thank you again to Richard and the performers of Emerald Empire Band!
Emerald Empire played our wedding in Nashville back in August. With 100% of our guests travelling from other parts of the country, we wanted to make sure we threw them a huge party to make it worth their while. We couldn't have done that without this band! They were energetic, talented and knew exactly what to play to get everyone involved. They were a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding, and if we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't think twice - Emerald Empire is the only way to go!
Emerald Empire played at our daughter's wedding and they were amazing. A good friend who never misses a wedding said it was the best wedding band he has ever heard. Everyone had a great time and the horn section was incredible! Emerald Empire was the perfect choice.
After having the band out for a Formal Dinner, I was very pleased. The band sounded very good. They were professional and easy to communicate with throughout the night. When you compare the cost of the band vs a high level dj, I would recommend the presence of the band for sure. Emerald Empire was a great addition to the evening and left everyone raving.
This is hands down, the best wedding band that you could hire! We had compliment after compliment from our guests, and were having so much fun that the night FLEW by! We loved Emerald Empire Band!!
We hired EEB for our recent wedding, and it was the best decision ever! Our guests are still raving about how much they loved our band. We went with a four piece, and it was perfect. They did an amazing job at reading the room and choosing songs accordingly. We agreed that out of every decision we made for the entire wedding, choosing them was the absolute best one. We had everything from Otis Redding to Prince to Backstreet Boys, and it all sounded great. They made it really enjoyable for us and all of our guests. You will not be disappointed! Thank you guys so so much!
Emerald Empire absolutely blew us away!!! Every guest, from our friends to my husband’s grandmother couldn’t stop raving about the band—we’re still getting compliments months later (seriously, his grandmother called yesterday to tell us that she’s been bragging to all her friends about how it was the most fun wedding she’s ever been to—and she’s 90!). The ceremony music was beautiful and the moment the band played the first note at the reception, the dance floor was packed. They played the perfect set list to get everyone dancing and our professional musician friends were flat out impressed by the musicianship. There were moments where it felt more like a concert than a wedding because everyone was so mesmerized by the band. I’ve never heard a band transition so flawlessly from Bruno Mars/Taylor Swift to Rolling Stones and Motown—they were amazing! Several of my friends have already asked about booking Emerald Empire for other events. Not only was the band amazing on the day, but Richard was so helpful leading up to the event. He followed up multiple times to go over all our music preferences and the schedule, and went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. They even let one of our friends use their equipment to play a song he wrote for our first dance. Emerald Empire made our night perfect and I couldn’t recommend them more highly—they will take your event to the next level!!
BOOK THEM NOW!!!! This band is awesome! they killed it at my wedding and kept everyone dancing all night. Manny is so great to work with and listens to all of your needs and wants. I can not tell you how many people have asked me who they were. Stop looking this is your band!
Emerald Empire Band was absolutely amazing! They kept our party going and made the wedding reception so much fun. They play so many varieties of music appealing to young adults, parents and grandparents alike. Manny was so easy to work with we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with them! Highly recommend
