Sky and Goldie met in hair school, and it was friendship at first sight. Shortly after meeting they moved in together and have been best friends ever since! After a few years of working together at Salon Zen in Norman, Oklahoma, Goldie went off to attend Savannah College of Art and Design while Sky stayed home and grew her skills as a stylist.

Absolutely LOVE Bast Studio! Sky and Gold E are phenomenal ladies, and Gold E does my color. During my latest visit with her, she customized an indigo-blue for me, and I'm so smitten! Love that they're in the Cherry Creek area, making that a post hair appointment dinner or whole foods run super convenient! Love that they carry Kevin Murphy too! (Can't live without powder puff or doo.over, just saying!)

I had never gotten my hair colored/dyed before, so naturally I was uneasy. Sky couldn't have been more helpful or educational on the process. The end result crushed, if I had a pic on my laptop, I would share it. I'm not normally one to write reviews but Bast Studio knows what they are doing. I will definitley be going back!

Goldie is the best! The new location is awesome, and has ample parking. Would definitely recommend Bast studio!

Gold-E is a color wizard! Not only does she do great hair but the environment is warm, friendly and very welcoming! It's an amazing feeling to finally find a place where I feel right at home and never leave unsatisfied!

I've always wanted to have a 'regular' stylist and I think I've finally found her. Sky does great work and makes the hours sitting in a salon chair (for my extra thick hair) easy as pie.

Sky knows her stuff! She asked me thoughtful questions to ensure we were on the same page before my haircut. I'm thrilled with the results and and so glad to be able to say I've finally found the Denver stylist I'll return to again and again. Please, um, hello the salon is cat-themed...it's a no-brainer folks 🐱
