Hey y'all I love my church I always get spiritually fed but this Sunday a pastor walks off stage and this little girl with a guitar, great voice and tiny range sings A TAYLOR SWIFT SONG!!! This is outrageous now we're singing secular songs like the sister church Central?? Central would do coldplay songs, sing Adele solos (horribly inappropriate songs) and the pastor wouldn't even show up for the second service he would put on a video of the first service. Easy job I'd say, 1.5 hrs a week then run off? C'MON CANYON RIDGE don't let the inexperienced and foolish minds of the youth let you fall into sin as a church by singing these ridiculous songs. We should be showing pictures of God's great creation and people helping people whilst worshipping, it shouldn't be a concert-like venue. Cameras off the singers. Seriously why are they on the singers? Do we really have that shallow of mind? This is for Jesus.. not anyone else. While telling stories etc of course cameras on any speaker. Pastor Drew.. He's great. I need that Bible cracked open to feel fulfilled and he does that. Many churches don't they just get you to feel good and them take multiple offerings (Central, ICLV) which is despicable.

Celebrate Recovery is excellent!! Friday evenings food is served at 6pm for a $3 donation. Come spend a Friday evening with an Upbeat Positive Fellowship!!🙏😀
What I love most about Canyon is that everyone is given an equal chance to be involved and accepted! Love all the pastors and staff! To the person that left a review regarding a "little girl with a guitar and tiny range", you should have taken a second to think and realize that a "little girl" doesn't choose the song selection! But continue to take shots at a "little girl" if it makes you feel better! I guess the Justin Timberlake song bothered you also that the "big guy with a guitar" sang the next week?
This is a beautiful church. I attend each year for GLS, and have a wonderful time. It is very organized, clean, and has a welcoming vibe. Though I do not attend the church it seem as though they have multiple thriving ministries. The youth building looks very nice and the waterfall is an amazing addition.
I walked into this church right years ago feeling anxious I did not know why but I prayed this day. The following day my son had a freak accident was hit by a pool pump lid and sliced his ear and the side of his head. My son lost his hearing from the ear but he is living a true Miracle. Some how God brought me near Canyon Ridge and this is now my home church bringing peace and Happiness to everyone .
This is a beautiful Church very nice it's a Mega Church that means they must appeal to the masses. People come here because it's safe. You could go there for years and never meet a soul. Sermons are simple a short and sweet. The service is one hour thats it .If your looking to have a close relationship with the pastor or feel like part of a community this is not the place. Funny thing is service is one hour and most people show up late? I'm use to meeting friends and being a part of something and a church that wants to learn about its members and try to help if your as I am then look for a smaller more personal choice. If you want fast simple and safe no one here is going to tell you what or what not to do they dont want to offend anyone thats why people go here it reminds me of a large gym where everyone has their headphones on and no one even knows your there?
This place has wonderful services, and as a person who never grew up going to church, it feels much more accessible to me. I feel like the pastors share in a way that doesn't make me feel like running right out of the place. It's a lot of positive energy and good vibes. Thee music portion is cool although it feels a little out of my comfort zone to have to stand throughout.
I moved here with my family over a year ago. We are all very happy and pleased to have chosen Canyon Ridge as our church home. You all are great!
