I learned the hard way that moths eat fur. I came to David completely distraught at the condition of my mink. It was pretty damaged, bald spots and fur exploding from it. David took the coat in and spent countless hours working on it. It took a year, but well worth it. It looks new. Bald spots are gone. It's perfect. I cannot express enough gratitude. Added benefit is the price was extremely reasonable!
I inherited a mink coat from my grandma. It had a lot of nostalgic value, but I couldn’t see myself wearing it with any regularity. I took the coat to David, and he had great ideas for converting it into a throw, pillows, etc. I decided on pillows so all the girls in the family could have something to remember our grandma. After seeing examples of David’s work in his shop, I had high expectations ... which he exceeded. He conditioned the fur before making the pillows. They’re sheared on one side and he included the monogram from the inside of the coat on one of the pillows. I’m so happy I did this because seeing the pillows reminds me of my grandma every day. Much better than storing the coat in my closet to only use it a couple times a year!!
