We are Brit and Michael Doerman. We founded Doerman Photography because we are passionate about photography and capturing people celebrating love. Our passion for wedding photography has taken us across the United States and given us the opportunity to meet and befriend many of our couples.

We had the most amazing experience! They were both extremely professional but also helped my fiancé and I become relaxed and take natural and beautiful pictures! They also really saw true beauty in some amazing spots around Nashville that I would've never given a second thought. The photos turned out absolutely amazing! The communication was quick and clear. I am VERY pleased with my experience with Doerman Photography and would recommend them for any occasion!
Recently, we had an engagement shoot with Doerman Photography. We were new to the "photo-shoot" experience, but they made it very easy to relax and just be us! We came from out of town and they were very easy to communicate with and get things figured out! The location was new for them, but they had no problem adjusting things to make the photos perfect! We are very pleased with our photos in the end and have received many compliments on how great our photos look! Thank you again Doerman Photography!!
Britanie & Michael were such a joy to work with!! They were so fun, energetic, and helpful for both our engagement shoot & wedding day. They made us feel completely at ease all day. Their ability to capture the joy on our day was incredible. Every time we look at our photos we are able to relive those moments over and over again, which is a gift that is without a doubt priceless. Choosing a wedding photographer is a huge decision. There are no “do-overs”, no opportunities to go back and capture a particular moment. It is important to find someone whose artistic style fits your vision, who is professional and talented, and delivers quality. Your wedding photographer is not a place to cut corners, or “find someone cheap.” The old adage “you get what you pay for” is true! It is best to find someone artistic, flexible, and creative. A photographer who is accommodating, unobtrusive, and whose demeanor makes everyone feel comfortable and special. Doerman Photographer accomplishes all of that and more. My daughter was married in June of this year, and we couldn’t be happier with the photographs from Michael and Britanie. They are an awesome team! The pictures are stunning, and capture the moment and the magic – the complete range of emotions, the unbridled joy of the day. Their artistry speaks for itself. I highly recommend them!
Highest possible recommendation. Michael and Brit were absolutely exceptional. They were nothing short of incredible. They are meticulous, cutting-edge, professional, timely, and always go above and beyond. Michael and Brit never settle. They are constantly thinking of new, creative ideas to film taking the stress of creativity out of the bride and groom. However, if you have anything that you want, they will bend over backwards to make it possible. My advice: contact Michael. If they are available for your date then schedule a meeting ASAP. As soon as you meet them, you will be sold. If you don't want to rely on my review or any other, fine. Spend 30 minutes with those two and you will be sold immediately. They make you feel like friends that truly care about you and your day. Because they do. I literally had guests commenting on how much they liked our photographers. Despite the fact my family was not paying attention, socializing, and being difficult during pictures, Michael and Brit did an outstanding job of keeping everyone ready without being rude or pushy. They were able to find that balance which is so difficult especially with people you do not know. They handled the situation incredibly professionally. Bottom line is photography is one of the most important parts about the wedding once it ends. It is one thing that will allow you to relive your day forever. Do not skimp out. If you hire Doerman Photography it will be the best decision you have ever made. They receive my absolute highest recommendation.
COOLEST AND EASIEST TO WORK WITH PHOTOGRAPHERS, EVER! What initially drew me to Doerman Photography was the timeless look they had. We wanted to look back at our photos years from now and feel confident they'd have a classic look about them. From our first consultation, we knew we had picked the perfect team to capture our big day. They truly cared about getting to know us individually and as a couple to make us comfortable and as a result, the photos tell the story of who we are together. They knew all of the important shots to take without us having to go through a list with them. I absolutely love going through my photos (and do on an almost weekly basis) because Doerman so perfectly documented our day from start to finish and we get to live the best day of our loves over and over. We are so extremely elated with the results and try to sing their praises to everyone we can. I am telling you, you are not going to find a more professional, fair, fun team to work with. My husband and I can be awkward around the camera, but they made it feel very natural and laid back, and the photos reflect it. Michael and Brit were our wedding photographers for our destination wedding in Nashville. They were quick at responding to our emails and even met up with us so we could show them our venue before our big day. On our wedding day, they were with us from the very beginning of the day to the very end, capturing every moment from different angles. They always had the next photo location planned out, and no time was wasted with them. My husband and I scheduled an entire hour on the day of our wedding for Michael and Brit to take photos of just us, and they turned out beautifully. In fact, everything turned out beautifully! They were fast, quiet, and hardly noticeable sometimes! All of my favorite pictures are the ones I didn't know they were taking. I can't wait to see my wedding album!
I would happily recommend Doerman Photography to anyone needing a FABULOUS wedding photographer! We were charmed by how personable and passionate Michael and Brittany were when we first met with him. On the day of our wedding, they surprised us by bringing along a third photographer at no extra charge. They were so receptive to feedback to make sure I was getting the type of photos I wanted. We ended up with so many wonderful wedding day photos. They captured the day perfectly! We were just so impressed!
We must have looked at every wedding photographer in Nashville trying to find the right photographer for our wedding day. Creativity was super important, as was professionalism. We met with about a dozen photographers but Michael and Brit really stood out. We hired them for our day and they were just the best. Fun, professional, creative, energetic, all over the place. The photos were stunning and well-exceeded our expectations!
There are so many wonderful things to say about Michael & Brit and their wedding photography. The chemistry between them is fantastic. They have this synergy of working together and bouncing ideas off each other that makes it so fun to witness. They both are so easy going and make you feel like you are comfortable friends. During our wedding day, they were calm and listened to our needs and wants. We got a little off track on our schedule, but they were so flexible and made everything just happen. They are both efficient and completely professionals. When we received the photos we were just blown away by the quality and the amount they captured. You will not regret choosing these two for your wedding photography. Mark and I can't thank them enough for their hard work and amazing photos.
