Dr. Seroussi is a diplomat of the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and member of multiple professional societies both locally and nationally. Dr. Seroussi comes to Child Psychiatry as a second career, after a strong background in attachment-based child development. She practiced in a field that supported the healthy interaction between parents and children.

Dr. Seroussi is incredible. I feel very comfortable under her care and she has done an incredible job keeping me stable. Her knowledge and comfort is much appreciated and I'm glad to say that I've found my doctor. Highly recommend!
Best Psychiatrist I've ever met . Refer patients to her all the time. Would trust her with my own family. Worth the out of pocket.
worst psychiatrist i’ve ever met
Though my daughter has never met her yet and will not, it seems to be incredibly difficult to contact a live person at this office, after some difficulty someone did call back in 12/2017 and we set up an appointment in 1/2018. Unfortunately due to some emergencies we had to reschedule and I have been trying to contact them since 12/2017 to reschedule. I finally got a response today with a curt response that the practice had filled up and we would have to go elsewhere.
Very unsatisfied. Even though it appeared like Dr. Seroussi was taking notes, every appointment was almost like a new patient appointment. She couldn't remember why we came to her and she mixed up critical details. Often she would promise to brainstorm for new ideas to share with us at the next appointment, but the next visit was like starting all over again. Our child didn't make real progress until we changed providers.
Dr. Seroussi was extremely rude to both me and my son (the prospective patient), who has Asperger's and ADHD. She kept us waiting for at least 20 minutes past our appointment time for our initial consult. This was our first time to her office, and no one warned us that she was running late when we checked in. When she finally emerged, she yelled at me in front of my son, refused to apologize, and told me to leave if we couldn't stand waiting. She is in the wrong field.
Karen is a very bright psychiatrist that has a deep understanding of ADHD, Aspergers, women, children, and teens. I have heard that appointments may run a little late and her front office sometimes can be a little slow but this isn’t uncommon with medical offices. My experience has been very positive as she is so bright and insightful. I constantly feel like I glean from her deep wisdom. She is very thorough and holistic in her approach. I have read the other reviews on her and acknowledge that fit is important and Karen may not be the right fit for everyone. That said, I have never seen her to be rude or unpleasant when dealing with anyone — even when she is rushed. I also think it’s tricky to find a psychiatrist that you like, who takes insurance, and who has any availability for new patients.
I did not care for this doctor. I did not like her personality and she would make unnuecessary mistakes like not calling in perscriptions and taking a long time to get back with me. She also was completely unmilling to prescribe benzos.
