Dr. Manuel A. Torres-Salichs received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. The further post-graduate fellowship was completed in Surgical Oncology at the University of Miami/ Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. He received an American Cancer Society sponsored scholarship in Clinical Oncology and served as Instructor of Surgery at the University of Miami.

I am 43 years old and after finding a lump on my right breast, fear set in. I had one years ago on my left breast but after several examinations it went away, was benign. Years later this lump turned out to be DCIS. Needless to say after all the emotional roller coaster, i was referred to Dr. Torres-Salich and I couldn't be any more happier. Since day one he has been very professional, very caring and explains everything in detail that you literally have no questions as they are all answered. I could have saved my breast, but the decision to have a double Mastectomy was all mine. The surgery was a success and i can't say enough how thankful I am for him and for the entire staff. The girls are all respectful and empathetic with the patients and made this scary time for me and my family, as smooth as possible. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Torres and I recommend him as one of the best surgeons out there. Thank you!
Dr. Salichs recently removed a Level 2 Melanoma from my back, this was done in his office with a local anesthetic I was a bit anxious but once i was in his office he was great. Very personable and knowledgeable explained everything in a simple and direct manner about the procedure. His bedside manner during the procedure was excellent., constantly asking how i was feeling and making sure i was fine. Hopefully i wont need his services anytime soon but would definitely return to him and highly recommend him.

Last year when I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was able to get an appointment with Torres Salichs two days later. Dr. Salichs was reassuring and I at ease with his treatment plan. He was attentive and always returned my calls the same day. His staff is always courteous and helpful.
Dr. Torres-Salichs was great!! He is very professional has great bedside manner and we are very happy with the outcome of the surgery. His office staff was very helpful and explained everything in detail along our journey. We highly recommend him.
Dr. Torres- Salichs is such a great doctor. I totally recommend anyone to him. He performed surgery on my mother and was really informative throughout it. He updated us every 10 minutes by calling a nurses beeper and speaking to us by it. He is truly good and I couldn’t be happier it was him who performed the surgery.
