Really great-looking location with a surprising amount of character for a place so freshly renovated. The food was top shelf, the service went all the extra miles, and we just had a great time hanging out in the late morning sun by the window.
This was a perfect place to dodge the rain before going into Wrigley!!! They were pretty busy because of the rain but still seemed to be getting everyone seated in a timely manner!!! The ceasar salad was delicious!!! I'd go back just for that!!! We also had the onion dip appetizer.... worked as a delicious sharing option!!! If you're looking for great elevated flavors and a cozy feel give them a try!!!!
Best food, kind staff members, regularly awesome atmosphere. They charge affordable pricing and the food quality is awesome. Highly recommended.
Stopped by after the CARDS/cubs game on Sat. afternoon. Got a great table for 8! Gigi was our server and so attentive, fun and personable. I observed she was busy, but you would not have known it by the time she spent with each table. She made sure we had drinks and checked regularly for additional guests as they wandered in from the game. The wings were great, chips and dip, a porkloin sandwich that was huge and good drink pours.
Went for Balena pop up. Staff was super attentive, decor and atmosphere were great. Food was delicious
Quality place with amazing service and fantastic food. I myself got the hanger steak, which was one of the best steak I have ever had. The quality was simply amazing, bravo to the chef. It is also right across from Wrigley Field, which makes for a great view. It combines fancy and casual in their style, and it works quite well.
Came over here for a drink, and we were hungry but I suggested to the misses we wait to see if the game gets postponed to go to a “real” restaurant. The bartender who was busting her *** to get drinks all night heard me and said “we are a real restaurant”. We looked at the menu and I got the strip, the middle got the salad. I would put it up against any steakhouse in Chicago for the quality of cook and steak, although we were in a “party” Chicago Cubs ambience.
I loved this place when it opened but the quality of the food has gone down substantially and the prices have gone up. The last time I went a week or so ago a $15 burger got us an obviously frozen patty burger that was dry and worse than any fast food burger you’ve ever had. A $7 side order of fries resulted in a few soggy fries. Fortunately they could not screw up a diet soda, but it cost an outrageous $4. The space is beautiful but that is the only positive here. The service is at best described as “uninspired.”
Great food, drink selection, and unbelievable view of Wrigley Field marquee from second floor dining area and bar. Great venue before or after ballgames of in the off-season. My brother had an incredible wedding reception in the venue last week and I can't say enough about this place. Love it!
