Delicious Mexican food chile relleno and cheese enchilada plate with mashed black beans and seasoned rice was absolutely delicious. A little pricey but good. The server was polite, accurate and attentive. I would absolutely return

Enrique's is a excellent Mexican restaurant with fantastic specialty dishes like the steak with shrimp and garlic as well as the pork shank with special sauce and rice. Love this place with super friendly staff and a owner who's usually there to greet you when you come in! I've been coming here for years and always stop by for lunch or dinner whenever I'm anywhere close to the area!!

Great original food. Service is efficient and friendly. I would suggest that you visit before the normal rush hours or will you be waiting 30 - 45 minutes especially after 6 PM. Best eating times - 11 - 1130 or 230 - 530 - or just wait - YUM YUM

On a recent family visit to Long beach I was craving Mexican food. Lucky for us, our family recommended Enrique's ! We stopped in for lunch and had to wait about 10 minutes but when we were seated we were greeted right away by our waiter who was very friendly and attentive. He brought us water and then some chips and salsa. I have to say, it was absolutely the best salsa that I have ever eaten!

I expected a more authentic Mexican food experience. The food was essentially beans smothered in burnt cheese and somewhere underneath the puddle of red sauce was an enchilada. The guacamole was old. The brown coloring was built up and mixed in the guacamole. The potato taquitos were good and the chips were too but It wasn't worth the $16.00 I paid for the plate or waking up with a stomachache. Too many other Mexican restaurants nearby with lower price point and better food so I wont be going back.

Decent spot for eating Mexican food at a restaurant. Nothing comes close to eating home cooked food. Not too fond of the chicken tacos. I enjoyed the potato hard shell and the ground beef. Beans and rice are very good. I’ve tried many places like this, if you’re a local, this is a good spot but since I’m a foodie and love trying new places, on to the next...

My intake of fried food decreases so much every year. The chips taste alright and the salsa is tasty. I have to save half the meal for lunch the following day because I get full half way through the meal. There is a decent amount of seating. The customer service is good (in my experience) and the prices are okay. For as much as I've come to experience of the eatery, I think it's a decent eatery providing home-cooked-vibes.
