Dr. Gottsegen attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, where he graduated with a B.A. in economics in 1989. He followed this degree with two years of additional study in a core science curriculum at the University of New Orleans.

I love this office. The staff is great and they are very accommodating. My son has had the best service here.
From my very first visit at the office, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly competence of the staff and the pleasant environment of the offiice itself. Dr. Brad and each member of his staff always show knowledge, skill, and professionalism. Each appointment is easy to check in and they are always on time, never waited more than 5 minutes after checking in. There were a few appointments I had to bring my toddler daughter with me and they provided a small chair for her near me and they all interacted with her while I had work done. They are an awesome A1 team!
Dr. Marshall Gottsegen and his son, Dr. Brad, were my GO TO sole source for orthodontia referrals from my 60+ year dental practice. Nobody does it better! Dr. Brad seamlessly took over his father’s wildly successfully business and then took it to the next level! The kids all LOVE him! I always knew when I referred a patient to Gottsegen Orthodontics that they would get the best and most efficient care possible. So much so, that I sent my own 4 children and at least 5 grandchildren to them, all of whom are beyond satisfied with their results. As a retired dentist, if you’re considering whom to take charge of your or your child’s orthodontic needs, I recommend, hands down, Gottsegen Orthodontics! Thank you, Dr. John Estes, Jr. (aka “Sug”)
Dr. G and his Staff are a class act! It’s as if he creates an environment where everyone including the clients are always All Smiles! The professionalism at this establishment is unmatched and Dr. G comes highly recommended. My braces are still on but I can see how beautiful my teeth already are beneath my train tracks lol. If I’m being honest they’d probably already be off if I hadn’t missed an appointment and he still predicts that they’ll be off in 2 months which would be a total of 12. The office runs like a well oiled machine unlike some offices with the hurry up and wait program. I never even leave reviews but I had to in this case. I’ll definitely check back in when my smile is perfected, but don’t take it from me, The Proof is in the Smiles. Thanks Doc!!
Dr Gottsegen and his staff are the unique balance of friendly and professional. I always felt as if I were in good hands there. Everyone seemed to remember me each time I walked in, which to me is incredible with the amount of patients that must use this practice too. The extra care they all take is truly felt. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for orthodontic care.

Dr. Gottsegen and his staff are very welcoming, thorough, and pleasant. From our initial consultation to now, our treatment, care, and comfort are always a priority. No question is left unanswered and Dr. Gottsegen goes above and beyond in his consideration of the best course of action for his patients. I feel we are in good hands and that peace of mind goes a long way.
I really can't believe my luck that I stumbled upon the website for Gottsegen Orthodontics. My schedule is so busy and unpredictable that Dr. Gottsegen graciously fit me in on one of his days off and took time to explain exactly what my problem was and what my options were. Office staff was super nice and helpful. I definitely need braces, and I will definitely get them here!
Doctor Brad is always prompt and friendly and puts my daughter at ease while he works on her orthodontia. His staff are just as pleasant and comforting as he is. My daughter was only eight years old where she started having ortho work done and she has never been scared or had any real pain from the work that Gottsegen has done. Braces can certainly be uncomfortable but she has never been afraid because they did such a good job of explaining everything and preparing her for the experience. Her smile is so much straighter than when we started and their treatment plan has been exactly what we needed! Can’t say enough!
