We loved everything about our stay at Guest House! This was not just a hotel room, it was an experience. The owner, Matt, was so helpful and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house was beautiful with such simplistic and modern decor. We stayed in the historic suite and could have spent our whole trip in the bright and airy room! The bed and linens were superb. Breakfast was light and delicious. Would definitely return.

Had a lovely stay in Roger’s Cottage separate from the main house. Stylishly furnished with charming historic details. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful little gem this is! From the moment my husband and I walked into this house we felt right at home. The intricate architecture and details that was put into making this house cozy, welcoming and homey make this boutique hotel a 5-Star one for me. The main living areas had so many nooks and spaces to sit and read a book or simply drink a cup of tea. The breakfast was simple and yet filling. The rooms have all the amenities of a regular hotel and feel spacious. We stayed in a cozy queen room and never felt cramped. The decor is minimalist and tasteful. The location is excellent! Within walking distance to shops and food scene of downtown Raleigh. Matt, our host, was incredible and super helpful in recommending places to visit. If I’m ever in Raleigh again this is where I’m staying.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary this past February at the guest house in Raleigh and not only were the owners more than happy to accommodate our every need. Every detail of our room was thoughtful, intentional, and beautiful. My wife and I reside in Cary which is about a 15-20 minute drive from here. I can say that this destination will most definitely be a great getaway for locals who want to reignite the romance or a perfect escape for anyone who wants to experience the true essence of Raleigh.

The location of Guest House is awesome, in a really walk-able area of Raleigh and there were tons of places to eat and explore nearby. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!

My husband surprised me with a night at Guest House for our staycation. It was AMAZING. Everything detail of Guest House was intentional and the thoughtful decor was minimalistic yet stunning. We had the best night sleep and enjoyed a slow morning in the natural lit kitchen enjoying incredible coffee and fresh, local treats. The hosts were so kind and the hospitality was some of the best we’ve experienced. Walking distance to downtown and the new food hall, Guest House was the perfect place to stay. We will be back for sure.

Beautifully decorated with all of the amenities. Coffee and pastries in the morning. Walking distance to great restaurants and Transfer Co food hall. Comfortable bed with brooklinen bedding. Plenty of parking on street or behind the house. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms with balcony but loved the back patio and garden as well. Will definitely be back.

Lux, comfy stay in a great location. Guest House is clean, contemporary, yet comfortable, providing star amenities with crisp, cozy rooms that embody modern Southern hospitality. Architectually amazing overall, and my specific room was indulgence with high quality linens, towels, technology, and quality fixtures to ensure a serene and effortless stay. Well done! And the owners were so attentive, making sure I arrived with ease and had all I needed. We need more boutique guest houses like this in the states.

My husband stayed here on our wedding night and then for the remainder of the weekend as a staycation, and it was perfection! Matt was super accommodating with us trying to check in early on the wedding day, and was very helpful if any needs came up. Everything downtown is walkable but it is outside of the loud hustle and bustle of downtown. I highly recommend the Guest House as a lovely get away!

Despite being so new to Raleigh, the Guest House seems to unequivocally establish itself as a mainstay of downtown. The convenience in its location and authenticity in its restoration of the city’s historical space make this a wonderful choice for experiencing the City of Oaks. Matt was an amazing host!
