Our founder and lead esthetician, Angela McTair, struggled with chronic, confidence-destroying acne well into her adult years. As a scientist, she knew there were ways to chemically balance and control the skin, so she tested product after product in hopes of healing her own skin. After she discovered that most products were filled with irritating ingredients that only worsened the situation, she set off on a mission.

THEY ARE TRANSGENDER FRIENDLY!! I love Harlem Zen! They take their time with you and make sure to do things correctly, using almost electrolysis level detail work as appropriate. Prices are very reasonable, and more than worth the service quality!! Laser is one of the Yags I believe, and it works infinitely better for me than previous lasers. Even though theoretically I have optimum contrast for any laser (pale skin, dark hair), I was receiving mediocre results. So even if you think you don't "need" the yag, try it anyway.

Harlem Zen is hands down the BEST place for laser hair removal. You will not find a more knowledgeable, caring esthetician in this business than Angela. PERIOD! She sincerely cares about her business and your skin. This place is worth your money and time. I have NEVER encountered a business of any kind where I have received this level of consistent, high-quality service and results (ever...in my entire life!). This place is a blessing! I can't say enough about how amazing the overall Harlem Zen experience is!
Harlem Zen is amazing. Love the services they offer. I had a micro derm abrasion and it was the best and I felt absolutely amazing. I highly recommend them and the beard line service they offer.
Angela has done a wonderful job on my bikini laser and body micro I am now moving on to a full Brazilian laser and body micro! Harlem Zen is very warm. inviting and clean. I would recommend Angela to anyone for these services. So far I am already seeing amazing results in that area and I am ecstatic!!
