Built in 1835 and located in the heart of the East Village, Holiday Cocktail Lounge has been a long-standing neighborhood fixture. According to the NY Press, the lounge "quickly became a haunt for poets and intellectuals," with famous neighbors including W. H. Auden and Leon Trotsky.

Bartender said he didn't have specific ingredients for a drink... just told me "no." literally saw ingredients on the bar behind him. Drinks were good, but I shouldn't have to change my order because the bartender doesn't want to make a specific drink!

Divey but decent.. has character. Will check it out again when I'm with the right crowd

This place has a very fun vibe. The cocktail menu is pretty generic and the drinks my one time there consistently tasted a little off. Possibly just a fluke. But this place is more than just its drinks. Definitely a place to check out as upon entering I felt transported out of New York City.

I've started getting drinks here pretty often. Good after work chill spot. The service could be better but if you just need a relaxing atmosphere to get a drink and catch up with friends this is it.

The cocktails are delicious, but it's the bartenders and music that bring this bar to life. There's nothing people want more than to belt out their favorite nostalgic rock songs from the 80s, 90s, and early '00s with their friendly neighborhood bartender.

I had visited the original one and while that was a dive bar this is a nice cocktail bar experience with some cool memorabilia, good music and expert mixologists

Great place with excellent drinks. I had a spot on Last Word and my friend had a killer martini. The vibe is fun with no wait and the bartender was very knowledgeable on a wide array of drinks. The atmosphere was fun and colorful and they played excellent 70s music, some of which I had a heard since I was a kid. This place should be packed nightly so don’t miss out. Tell your friends.

Unassuming as you approach but once inside it’s a great place for casual drinks with a couple friends. Easy going atmosphere in a low key setting.

Amazing place! Awesome menu, great staff all In all one of best speakeasy bars I've been to, best part all night parking on the weekends definitely would check this place out if your looking to host a cocktail party like I did! Thank you guys!
