They will cheat you out of your money. They will have you sign off on a certain amount and take some back after you left the building. They let donors do whatever they want, nobody gets deferred. You see donors walking from the front to the back, not safe at all. Manager does nothing, just don't sit in the wrong area that's all he cares about.

Good place to make extra cash. Never a fun experience but it is nice to be able to help sick people and pocket money. Some really nice people there and a few rude ones thrown into the mix, but that's at any job. I'm usually in and out of there in about 2 hours.

Arms hacked into tissue! Payment for your plasma is on a card Your charged a service fee for usages. So your always lost cash for your plasma. $3.50 on $50 dollars kicked out to cards service fee. Your card can only pull out $20s. So you can never get last $10!

Went today shortly after an interview. Took me about an hour to get there just to get turned around. I had all my documents however once the doctor quickly searched my veins she then just walked away and said "no" to the other doctor and kept walking. I then asked what's going on the woman sitting says "I'm sorry ma'am you cannot donate." I then asked why she says my veins were too "Little" so they can't see me. Mind you the doctor barely felt for my veins, I just had a baby not too long ago the doctors been finding my veins with no problem now all of a sudden my veins are a problem. Oh forgot to mention one of the nurses was giving me a dirty look maybe they did me a favor not seeing me!

I use to donate in Michigan at a csl plasma location and on a good day I could get out in about 3 and a half hours which was rare. These interstate blood process people quick and I'm usually out in about 2 hours guaranteed no more then that

I’ve been to 3 blood banks across Chicago. It might not be the most modern best looking place. However, they will give you awesome customer service.

April 2nd 2018...Horrible..(please save your time) Im not known for writing bad reviews or any review but ive been coming here for a little over 2years and never I mean NEVER have I had a issue with my veins or the mechine but today the female worker did not stick the needle in my arm the right way (totally missed my vein) and now i have a burised arm and they gave me 10 F***** dollars for a mistake by their employee thats not right ..the worst part is another employee told the lady that the needle was wrong because i have a mark on my arm of where i usually get stuck.. Bottom line they lost a loyal visitor. Dont waste your time unless you have one specific person stick you.

Very courteous staff...usually pretty prompt with getting you seen.Would definitely recommend this place to those needing some extra pocket change...just wish they would raise the price for regular donors a bit.
