Food was good. Was seeking some roti(paratha/buss up shot), but they only had dhalpouri. I feel the menu is more geared to Jamaican cuisine. Settled on the oxtail which had a little too much five spice, but was good nonetheless. In need of a renovation though. Looks pretty much the same as when it was Caribbean Hut forever ago.

Island Vibes is a great place. I had the curry goat and it was so tender that it melted in your mouth. My wife had the jerk chicken and really enjoyed it. Spicy but not too crazy for us Americans! Each dish came with rice and beans, stewed cabbage, and plantains. Would definitely go there again!

This place was indeed a fantastic food joint! The staff was descent and our food was delicious. Be careful and make sure to reiterate your order, we had a mix up with our drinks. I had the curry shrimp dinner which made me want more. My dinner had only 5 shrimps and the rest was rice and peas and cabbage. I was slightly disappointed for the amount we paid.

Amazing. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive. You can taste the authenticity. All the meat is smoked there, small hole in the wall type restaurant. I came across it wanting to try something new. I’m very happy I did, my whole dental office I worked for ended up becoming regulars. I don’t work in Nashville anymore but when I come to the area I’m stopping by.

We love this place. I once ate here 3x In one week. Never disappointed. Oxtail, curry, and jerk are always a must. The rice and peas is amazing. Cabbage my friend swears it’s the best. My husband has to get his meat patties. Seriously we absolutely love the food. Wait is never long. Don’t forget the club in the back at night on weekends playing island music. Thank me later!
