John C. Clohisy, M.D. is the Daniel C. and Betty B. Viehmann Distinguished Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University. He serves as Director of the Adolescent and Young Adult Hip Service, Co-chief of the Adult Reconstruction Service, Director of the Fellowship in Joint Preservation, Resurfacing and Reconstruction, and Director of the Orthopaedic Inpatient Service.

2014 I had my right hip replaced By Dr. Clohisy. He and his staff were on top of my particular situation. They were great.

Dr. Clohisy changed my families life. My husband had been living in pain for years. He had his right hip replaced 5 weeks ago and my husband is not only PAIN FREE but walks with only a cane (will do that for another 3 weeks) and can work out and be active again. I have seen my husband smile and laugh more in the last 5 weeks than I have in the last 5 years. Dr. Clohisy's staff was friendly, informative and personable, all the patients they deal with and they remembered me (the patients very curious wife) and our specific situation. I thank God everyday since his surgery for Dr. Clohisy and his team. What a blessing!
