Good chicken, ours was a little dry. Service was great. I like the fried green tomatoes. The onion rings were not the best. Overall a decent restaurant.

Been there a few times and the best I can say is that the beer is cold and the chicken salad sandwich is pretty good. As for the fried chicken, I'm afraid the chicken died in vain. The times I have had it it was too dry. I guess they fry it a little too long for my taste.

Let's be clear, the fried chicken at Lucy's is delicious. For some reason, the tap water always seems a bit murky and the staff can be less than timely depending on the location. I prefer this location to the Lake Travis one as it's much cleaner and has a much better wait staff. If you're looking for an interesting dish with a creole flavor, try the Fried Chicken Spaghetti. I'm a fan of the bucket o' chicken to split amongst friends. The mashed mexican sweet potatoes are super tasty and I'd recommend that along with the mac & cheese and fried okra as appetizers.

Service was dismal. Chicken came out cold, fried devil eggs were piping hot fresh though, but chicken room temp.... two waiters and bar tender with very few customers and service was horrible. Only 4 customers in place when I showed up. 2 at table two at bar. Waited 15 minutes before anyone even stopped by. Once food got there waiter never came back. I had to flag him down to get check. One other waitress was helping another table. She to made rare appearances. Previous comments are not off in regards to poor service. The other table told me other location is better.

We had heard about this place for awhile and gave it a try. Pretty tasty and atmosphere was nice. A little slow for the food to come out but I think it was because they were busy. The server was nice and apologetic so other than that a good overall experience. We will go back in the future and I recommend to give it a try.

Had the fried chicken and waffles. The waffles were crispy on the outside and soft inside as waffles should be. The chicken was crispy and tasty as always. One of my favorite fried chicken places I've ever been to.

What a great place! Delicious! I had deep fried deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, chicken tenders and cheese grits. Everything was awesome. Loved the atmosphere and great service!

The. Best. Fried. Chicken. I probably don't need to say more. Lucy's has blown my mind. I felt as if I had some pretty good fried chicken over the years...that is until I visited Lucy's! It is a bit small on the inside. But what it lacks in space makes up for in the flavor and juicy-ness of the chicken. I could have stayed and eaten chicken all day and into the night.the service was excellent and did I mention the chicken!?! Run don't walk to Lucy's. If you ever find yourself in Austin and need a suggestion for a place to eat. Do yourself, family, and friends s favor and go to Lucy's Fried Chicken!

Excellent service when I stopped by for lunch today. Greeted when I walked in, sat down and immediately received service. Definitely some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. Would absolutely recommend. Also chatted with Steve one of the servers, added some good personality to the experience. Great job.

The fried chicken is excellent and a basket is plenty filling for 1. The real winners, to me, are the French fries. They’re absolutely addicting. Perfect balance of crispy outside and fluffy inside, and seasoned with something that must be crack. Seriously I can’t stop eating them help
