The teachers are very caring and understanding. The Financial aid Service are busy but easier to do service in slow times. But I feel like this was a waste of time. To many prerequisites. Advisors are harder to reach and bad at helping me map my future requirements. Went in 2010 haven't graduated.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a college. I’ve tried to be in contact with multiple staff members on moving forward in my application process and got no where. I was given many different answers to the same question. The staff seemed to just want to push me off to another person so they didn’t have to deal with it. Absolutely horrible!!

You get what you pay for. It's cheap and lets 16 year olds in. The professors intentionally waste half of class time going over the schedule so they won't have to do as much work. Some of the professors are simply racist, I'm not using that as American English where racist means jerk, I mean that in international English where racist means racist. With all that being said, I only had two professors give me unjust grades out of the 12 or so I had. The professors are of low quality and don't have all that much mastery of the material they are teaching. So why 4 stars? It fulfilled the function it was meant to have for me. I spent two years there, saved a bunch of money, then transferred to a better school. Don't think of MCTC as a place for education, think of it as a place to save money completing general education requirements that you aren't going to use much in your career anyways.

This place is awful. The last time I attended my mother was dying and I reached out to set up a support structure to help me through the process. I got in contact with trio (a service that's supposed to help people with disabilities navigate the collage experience) and had a counselor assigned to me and I talked to the teacher in the one class I was taking to let them know what was going on and that my mom would die during the semester. I was told that accommodations would be made for me, and all I needed to do was tell them what was going on. I stayed in regular contact with my counselor, until she started ghosting on my appointments, phone calls and emails right at the time of my mothers death, during finals. I also let the teacher know that I needed an extension on my final because there was too much going on for me to complete it at the moment. No one ever got back to me, and the teacher gave me an F. The people who swore that they'd help me did nothing when it came right down to it.

Spend you money some where else. This school dose not care if you are successful as a student they just want your money. I have reached out to advisers many times and don’t even get replies to my emails or return my phone calls. Nothing at this is organized And the deans could careless

Very much a “Get what you pay for” kinda college. It’s cheap, most classes are pretty easy to pass, but the most you can get is an associates degree, and a lot of the support staff isn’t exactly thrilled about the job they have so if you’re not pushing them to get what you want done they probably won’t do it.

actually a pretty great school. you can't get a full degree here, which is a shame, but it's a great transfer option and the smaller courses they offer are fairly interesting. kindly ignore the net score of 3.5, it should be a 4.5 but the vast majority of people who leave reviews on colleges are wieners who want to complain about not passing their courses

The facilities are very clean and up-to-date. Very spacious all throughout the campus. The way that they number the ruins is a little tricky but not incomprehensible.

My boyfriend enrolled in 2 night classes fall 2018 to get some prereqs out of the way before going back to school for engineering. From the beginning we had problems with administration. Issues with getting ahold of people or emails back, working with people who had no idea what was going on, and people being straight up rude and unprofessional. If you work full time good luck! They do not help meet you halfway to meet outside of normal business hours for meetings about anything you need. The workload of 2 classes was impossible with a full time job and a commute - new lectures, readings, and assignments literally everyday. The drop date is the 5th day of the semester so don't miss it. We did miss it and completely withdrew after 6 business days of classes. The "partial refund" you are supposed to get is a complete joke. It's not a refund of what you paid at all but rather a prorated cost of what you owe for the semester. Don't get screwed by MCTC like we did! Take your hard-earned money elsewhere!

Unhelpful when it comes to building schedules for full time students. Does not care or try to help students understand which classes they need to take and why or how many credits they should be taking. Provides no information on how to pay for college to potential/incoming students. Incredibly slow at processing financial aid as well. Whoever is hiring staff should re-evaluate what the college stands for and what they want out of their employees because right now, MCTC is looking like a scam and that is unacceptable.

Currently in the process of signing up for spring classes-- spoke with a woman in student services who was just so rude to me it was baffling and hurtful. This was not a good first impression. It makes me nervous for what the future holds at this school. I won't state her name but just know if you were also spoken to in a negative manner you are not the only one.
