Took curtains to them to have hemmed slightly. We had to return to them multiple times to have them re-done. Still, none of the four curtains we got back are the same length and none of the lengths of the hemming on each of the curtains is different from the other now. They may be good at tailoring suits, but cannot manage to correctly work on curtains. Think twice before spending money here.
Very quick, friendly, and professional service. They have all of the different colors imaginable. I went in to get my measurements and tux rental and I had my order placed in about 10-15 mins total. Pick-up and drop off went flawlessly as well. They made sure everything fit properly before I left with my tux.
Don and his staff are amazing!! I needed a last second day of wedding tux and they came through. I was in a pickle. My only complaint is the tux I rented didn't have a vest and so I requested a vest with my tux. Cost me 35$ to rent a vest. Yikes!! That seemed a little pricey but it's all good. They were very helpful. Next time I will buy my own vest. Haha
We loved this place!! We got there just before closing on Saturday and they weren't even upset. We needed a tux for the next day, last minute. These kind folks got everything we needed, including shoes at a great price. Highly recommend for any occasion.

First and foremost, THANK YOU to Mr. Minsky for his excellent service and amazing product. We were directed to Minsky's through friends after our original tux provider was unable to fulfill our request. The process of measuring and purchasing the rental was pain free with the added stress of members of the wedding living out of the country. Every tux looked stellar and the quick turn around was excellent. Thank you Mr. Minsky for making my wedding day special and unforgettable. Also, thanks for making me look great 😎!!!

For elegant formal wear in a flash, see Don Minsky. I had procrastinated about getting formal ware for a niece’s wedding with a 1920’s theme. A few days before the event I began searching for a tux and found that most of the establishments that rented a tux required two to three weeks lead time to prepare the outfit. Finally, on line under “formal wear for rent” I ran across Minsky Formal Wear in Richardson. Four days before the event I called Don Minsky. He invited me to his shop, told me not to worry about the time crunch, took the measurements, did a fitting, made some excellent suggestions, took notes on the accoutrements I wanted, was cordial and patient throughout and told me to come back in about 48 hours. I did so and he presented me with a garment bag with everything including the requested tux, and shirt, with a matched set of vest, tie and kerchief, as well as studs and cufflinks. All was provided at a very competitive price and the rental was good for a week. Since my wife and I were traveling to the West Coast for the event and visits with family, the duration of the rental was important. I cannot offer a stronger recommendation for any business.

I found myself in Dallas, 5 hours away from home, with the wrong suit for an event and less than 10 hours to find a different one. I've got a relatively small frame and nothing works for me off the rack, making same-day rentals virtually impossible. Don and the staff at Minsky went above and beyond to resolve my problem, suggesting possible solutions and ultimately making adjustments to a suit they had on hand in order to accommodate my needs. Tellingly, many of their proposed solutions would have taken my business elsewhere - I appreciate a business that values customer's best interests and doesn't try to sell me on an an inferior solution. Don told me that they'd been there since 1982 so I do not think I am the only one. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for my formal wear needs!
