Mulberries was first purchased back in 2000 by proud owners Kip and Kathleen Karr. Their first daughter was only one at the time, so together they began building their new life and a new business. They have since continuously invested charm, dedication, and integrity to the growth of Mulberries Cake Shop.

Best bakery in town. The staff is delightful and they truly make the best cakes and cupcakes. I ordered a three tier cake for an event and everything that could have gone wrong did. However, the staff at Mulberries came together and turned a horrible situation into memorable night for the birthday girl.......
Ordered a cake for my daughters birthday. And picked up cupcakes, candles and decorations. Really delicious and they went above and beyond decorating. Thank you!
If you're looking for the best cake shop in the Denver metro area, look no further. The cakes are beautiful and delicious, but what really makes this place the best are the people. It's impossible to leave this place without a smile on your face!
My sons high school graduation cake was really disappointing. The cake was dry and the decorations were harried. I was well planned - I requested a month in advance. For the effort of going to a real bakery and for the expensive price it is was truly disappointing. I won’t return.
I. Love. This. Place. When your 5 year old asks for a cake with a mermaid and a "sea unicorn" on it and they hit a home run...yup. plus we always get a box of cupcakes for the party. They're our go to for events!
They made my amazing, weird, wedding cake in November of 2018 and are truly the most awesome team.
I’ve used this bakery twice in the past, and was totally happy. My most recent experience changed my thoughts. I ordered a small cake for my daughter’s birthday and specifically expressed that I wanted whipped frosting. The order was accepted and paid for over the phone. When I picked up the cake, I didn’t notice it was buttercream. When I called to inform them of the issue, I was transferred to the manager. The woman claimed that she informed me when the order was being taken. I don’t appreciate being played for a fool. I would NEVER have purchased a cake that my child wouldn’t eat. If the woman had been apologetic, I would’ve accepted the mishap. When you’re nonchalant about my child’s day...you’ve lost me. I’ve referred this bakery to several, after this mornings conversation...not happening again.
I have been ordering a birthday cake for my mom this time of year for several years. This time I'll be ordering on Tuesday for her 92nd birthday on the 25th of November. Although I don't get to see or taste the cakes (I'm in Phoenix), she always raves about the chocolate and how pretty they are. Now that she's in a senior facility, she loves sharing with her "lady friends". Keep up the good work, Kathleen, and I'll speak with you soon!!
Really outstanding cake and well decorated...we told them the theme of the birthday party and some of the colors and the cake was perfect. Really nice staff and lots of other treats as well.
