Awesome pastrami, tender and thickly sliced. The pickle plate was okay, the pickles themselves are a bit sweet and spiced for my tastes. The pickled tomatillos, though, are the star. The thing that is important to know about this place is the eye-watering price. Two sandwiches, a pickle plate, and a couple of waters for $48. Expect BBQ prices, not deli prices.

Brisket done right! Lovely tiny little join serving brisket and pastrami. The bread is one of the most delicious I have eaten in Texas and the brisket just melted in your mouth. So good that we ate a second one!

I have tried every pastrami place in Austin. This is clearly the best. Imagine tender pastrami with a BBQ bark from Opies. Put it in a sandwich and bam. Quick service. Kinda a flash mob right after me about noon but I think they can handle it.

Nothing I love more than a good sandwich. At Mum Foods Delicatessen, I’ve had nothing less than a great sandwich. Without a doubt the best in Austin. Come for their pastrami, and check the special board too. I’ve been several times. They’re …More

I haven't found a good deli that serves good pastrami sandwiches like east and west coast in Austin, came across this new place and was excited to try. My pastrami sandwich was cold, not even the room temperature, it was cold. Food menu was not very clear, no drink menu, it was confusing for a first time customer. Cute place though.

An authentic Austin location. Great pastrami and brisket, other seasonal items are always changing based on what local ingredients are in season. Thoughtful food and friendly service from the staff and owner. This is a blooming small business getting its first chance to expand into a brick and mortar establishment after selling at the Farmers Markets for many years ( you can also still find their products in the Markets - check out the website for those details) . They also cater and can host events. I recommend this awesome local business with seasonal local ingredients! You can’t ever go wrong with the famous pastrami sandwich, a slice of pie or a cookie ( why not both?) ! Sometimes they have free beer!

Pastrami and pimento sandwich was delicious. It was a little on the heavy side, but tasted great. Sourdough bread held up during the whole experience. Both the side pickels and Cole slaw are worth eating. Great sweet tea. The BLT was also amazing for a lighter , but still delightful meal

I'm new to Austin, and came here on a friend's recommendation. With that being said, this was easily the best pastrami I've ever had. Can't wait to go back.

Pastrami as delicious as anything a NYC deli could pump out, but with an bbq 'feel' to it. Absolutely amazing! Will definitely be going back.
