I absolutely love this restaurant! Novak's really gives you the family owned vibe. They do a great job at making you feel welcome and the food is fantastic! Every time we go to Novak's we come home with a ton of food. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend them.

They combined potatoes and cabbage in vaguely rustic ways then attack it with sausage. It's wonderful. I miss the old bakery.

Absolutely delicious food! This is such a great place to eat! The staff and owner are some of the nicest people you will ever meet,it was our first experience with Hungarian food, and it was just wonderful. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a great meal and an even better dining experience, I would double up on the 5 stars if I could.

This is an Albany legend and still great. Had to stop by while in town and as good as I remember in the 90's!

Good atmosphere and food. Loved that. Although the breakfast sausage could have been microwaved Jimmy Dean for all I know. And the stuffed cabbage rolls were incredibly salty, so much so that it was overwhelming. Everything else was fine. The paprikash was nice.

Went for the dessert. Checked their website multiple times and called before I went as it was a 4 hour drive into another state for me. Got there and they were closed. Met up with a friend and found out they had a fire a month before. No message on their website or phone recording. Found out from friend the dessert I was going to surprise them with if Novak's had been open was Novak's best and friend's favorite.

The food and atmosphere is amazing. Anyone who has been upset by a closure please be patient, there was a fire and they are trying to repair everything to reopen as well as just had a death in the family. Please give them some grace.
