This review is for all the doctors & staff at Pediatric Associates of Davidson Co. Our family LOVES them! I have personally recommended at least 4 other families to this practice. The advice is always 'what you need to hear & should know' - not necessarily 'what you want to hear'. I always feel that there is confidence and knowledge behind their recommendations. Or, they'll keep digging until they find more information, or send you to a specialist if needed. They don't claim to know everything, but they do care & they do a fantastic job. We've been to all doctors there, but mostly we've used: Dr. Keown & Dr. Davidson, as well as Darren their Nurse Practitioner.

My 10 month old daughter has been seeing Dr. Davidson since birth and we had relatively positive interactions with him until we received a "break up" letter notifying us that we were being dropped from the practice. From my understanding, it is due to an after hours call we made a month ago when he was the on-call doctor. When he returned our call, he lacked understanding, patience, and frankly, his speech was slurred and he was incredibly difficult to understand. We had called because our daughter had been screaming at the top of her lungs for the last several hours after receiving her flu vaccine the previous day. We were very frustrated and at our wits end, and his lack of help and understanding added to the stress of the situation rather than helped it. Without any warning or even a call to reassess that situation, we received the letter stating that, due to "divergent philosophies," we were being dropped from the practice. This is incredibly unprofessional and upsetting. I called to speak to Ruth Trevino, the practice administrator who sent this letter, for an explanation. I was met with, again, a complete lack of understanding that I felt this was extreme and was instead condescendingly instructed on how to find a new doctor. I do not recommend bringing your child to this practice. Every parent has to make that dreaded after hours call at some point, and to be met with this sort of response is absolutely appalling and unprofessional.

this hospital doesn't care about what the parents want for their children. the only thing they care about is according to their agenda. if you want a rude doctor who doesn't care about what you want or what you think I would recommend Dr.Davidson. he doesn't care about your opinion or what you want for your child. staff is unorganized and discombobulated. they need a front a desk that's a little bit more welcoming.

I was here with my son from birth till 9 months and saw 3 different doctors. Even though he was my third child they made me feel like I didn't know what I was doing and unsupported in my desire to breast feed. I always left feeling upset. I found the receptionists unfriendly but the nurses were lovely.

My grandson comes here and is cared for wonderfully. Any office has wait times, as sick kids and emergencies happen. But we are always welcomed and treated as if we are important and everyone is kind and helpful. It amazes me how often people focus in on negative and are less likely to praise when things go well. Thank you PADC for watching over our little Leonardo!

We have been taking both of our children here from birth. It's kind of like Doctor Who. You have a connection with your first Doctor. Whether it be Tennant, Smith, Capaldi, or any of the others. You like all the Doctor's but you will always have a special place for that 1st Doctor. Dr. Keown is our 1st Doctor, and she rocks.

Doctors are great. Admin staff not that great. In fact they suck. 8/27/2018 I'm adding this after seeing the response. Front desk people were always kind. Your practice manger when we were there is not kind. My children were seen by your docs from day one, until the practice manager sent us a break up letter because I was offended by the billing person. Yes I did not pay a bill (I think $40). My fault. But when I called her out on her methods the practice manager decided we were no longer welcome. I sent a faxed letter to the doctor with not response. "Complaining on social media is not harsh. What's harsh is the practice manager telling us to find new doctors.

We just had our last appointment with Dr. Keown as my youngest is now 18 and I can say that in the 13 years that we have been coming I have never had an issue with any staff or Doctor. Dr. Keown and her staff genuinely cares for their patients and the parents.
