Most wonderful caring MD. Very involved with his patients well being and will tell you the truth even if it hurts. Am so glad i revisited him for my apnea. He knew my problem from years ago, was firm about my need to use sleep aid and he is completely right. A great Doctor!

I was referred here by my internal doctor. They gave me a choice of having a "take home sleep study" for $300 or an "in-house sleep study" for $800 - I chose the take home. I came to the office, had a nurse/office staff-person explain how to use the small device... They instructed me to use it for 2 nights and then return it. They did mention that if the device falls off, they would not be present to help me put it back on. If I did a sleep study at their facility, then they would be able to put it back on me. After the 2 nights, I returned the device. 1 week later, my internist called me and said that the results were inconclusive. I called the sleep center to find out what that meant, and to ask the doctor if he thought I needed to come in for a full sleep study. The office policy is that I would have to come in for a consultation with the doctor, he cannot answer questions over the phone because he has not "seen me." Someone in his office did see me. Other doctors I have had for other things do not have any issue with this... Now, I'm wondering why the doctor didn't see me when I came the first time? If he had, would he then speak to me over the phone? I'm going to speak to another doctor about this... Basically, I just want to know what the possible outcomes of a full sleep study would be and to find out if that would be worth my time and effort.

I find everyone who works in this center to be professional, friendly, organized and caring. From the CPAP supplies team to the informative overnight sleep study techs to the front desk. Everyone is top notch and that is probably because Dr. Norman is all of this and more. (The 'fish' smells from the head as they say). You can put your unconscious self in their hands.
