I've been a member of SFBC since 1979. This church supports many community programs today, and has done so for decades. It is a welcoming and affirming American Baptist church that identifies with the teachings of Jesus. It is a center of love, not condemnation.

SFBC is the most caring loving all inclusive churches I have ever experienced. It feel like coming home whenever I go there. The whole atmosphere is warm and inviting. The universal message is one of love, support and caring.

A beautiful historic landmark of Seattle with a history of social justice activism over the last century. A warm and welcoming church with a traditional feel and worship service. Friendliest church I've ever been too, and excellent pastoral messages every week that won't let you fall asleep in the pew.

I love this church, it is so beautiful. I also like the overall atmosphere and I met a staff person, Tim, who diligently attempted to help me locate my iPad that I thought I misplaced inside the church yesterday. He looked everywhere possible. Please convey to him my extra gratitude for his compassion and let him know I located it. It was in another purse that my husband placed in the trunk of our car. Agape!
