Company Description

From the moment they walk in the door, our customers feel our culture; it’s the start of an experience. We specifically chose the building, our staff, the hard decor, and products, to work together to create a destination that brings back a lost culture. Not narcissistic fashion, but pride in what you wear and how you represent yourself.

Popped in today to get a quick fix done because my normal place doesn't work on pleather material. They were lovely! The shop interior looks beautiful and the service was excellent. The lady took my shorts to the back for a price quote and the tailor fixed it on the spot for free. I actually look forward to returning to this place. Thank you Stitch It!

I’ve been here before to get suits and shirts fitted and a good experience. But I recently dropped off a shirt, and got charged $53 to raising the hem a couple inches. The man who took the shirt day before said $25, and that was an “express fee” for getting it soon (that wasn’t clarified until today) Was not clear at all, and to not have enough sense to charge someone $53 for 10 minutes worth of it. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Casey was very accommodating and gave great fashion advice. I asked for a 2-day express alteration for my suit, and they finished it a day before they promised. Quick, quality work at a good price with great customer service.

Think I’d rather set my clothes on fire than take them back to Stitch-It. I had two small alteration projects, and both were botched. On one, the stitches were crooked and amateurish looking, creating rumples and wrinkles. On the other, the stitches actually came loose- the first time I put the garment on which happened to be the day I needed to wear it. I got a refund on one, not the other, and both times the blame was deflected to me (for having bad ideas for the projects- then why accept the job? I’m not a seamstress, please tell customers honestly if their idea will not work!) or, hilariously, to the fabric store where I got the accompanying fabrics for the alterations. Thoroughly disgusted and disappointed. I realize small alteration jobs like mine are not their bread and butter so maybe they didn’t put a lot of effort into my garments, but even the proud owner of a $12 botched alteration can leave reviews.

Quality is a word that shouldn't be abused as to reinforce better from best. The guys and gals of Stitch-It are far and away the best in the area of Nashville at what they do. From the moment you walk in, you know that your every need will be met and exceeded. I've been taking all of my items there for many years now. My frame makes buying clothes a cumbersome chore with wanting a tailored look with an athletic build. Prior to them, I had tried many other places and where they fell short, Stitch-It picked up the rest and ran away with it. To demonstrate their quality in taking care of their clients, I was looking to get a custom made shirt for an upcoming wedding. They took time to go over patterns with me that matched my suit, took careful measurements and confirmed that with how I would like my fit, and when the time came to pick up my shirt...I not only had one shirt, they surprised me with two simply for my patronage. I've never had any experience like this anywhere else and likely never will! You'll stop your search for an amazing tailor and custom clothing store when you come here. I'd give them an extra 5 stars if Google allowed me.

I needed a jumpsuit hemmed and altered for a wedding and was very worried that no one would be able to fix it. I brought it to Stitch-It and the guys took it in, no problem. They finished it in 3 days and it looks AMAZING!!! So happy with everything and the guys that work there!

Stitch-It was excellent! Their employees know modern and classic style and are amazing at giving fashion advice and assessing what is best for you. I took in several pairs of pants that, of course, fit me like giant bags. We discussed the look of the taper and break and Casey did an excellent job accommodating what I wanted. It took a little while and was a little expensive but I 100% got what I paid for and the wait was worth it! My pants are all perfectly done and I can't believe that pants can actually look this good on me. Casey was a professional, through and through. We had a fun time both discussing the business at hand and other things. If you have a piece of clothing you love and want taken care of, this is the place to do it.
