These folks rating the place 5 stars must be friends and family who get special service/rates I guess... I dont see how this place can be rated 5 stars. Recently I took 3 pairs of pricey ($200+) jeans to the closest alternation place I could find on the navigation service, without reading any reviews or doing any research. Why? Because all I needed to do is turn my 31/34 jeans into 31/32. Cut two inches from the bottom and sew it back up as it was. Nothing complicated here. There are brand new, unworn, rigid, unwashed denim - so nothing to worry about the fade/wash/etc. Its a straight up cut and sew job. Guess what, the whole experience, as well as the job they did, is terrible to say the least. Firstly, the man at the counter talked to the women in the back in an Asian language for almost 5-7 minutes while holding my jeans. He wasnt looking at her, or me, just the jeans, and talking to her in the back. If this had gone on for a couple more minutes I was thinking of getting out of there, which I wish I had. But he finally spoke to me and agreed to do the alterations and asked me to come back in a week. Really? Anyway, when I go to pick up the jeans he charges me more than the receipt he gave me, and explains the additional amount as being tax. Then why didnt you add it to the receipt in the first place? Anyway, at the end of this whole ordeal, it turns out that they did not even use the Lock-stitch that is standard on jeans. Even an intern would know that! This place is an utter disappointment and a waste of time, money, and you may end up possibly ruining your pricey garments. Not going back here nor recommend at all.

I ordered a dress and the manufacturer was going to customize my dress so I needed measurements. In most cases at alteration shops this is free. She completed the measurements for free but was nasty the entire time. She attempted to charge me $5 and didn't even want to write the measurements down. Turns out I still need someone to alter the dress but guess who it won't be? She just lost business due to being unprofessional and rude.

I haven't even gotten my shirt back, and I think the service here is terrible. I dropped it off two weeks ago to get a patch sewn on. The lady told me to come back in a week to pick it up. I came back the day she said, was late to work, because they don't open until 9:30AM, and she said it wasn't done yet to come back another day. I couldn't come back until a week later (today), and I was late to work again to get there at 9:30AM, which is when they open... and I waited until 9:45AM and no one was there and it was locked! I called and left a voicemail. There was another lady outside waiting as well. I'm so ticked. I Need my shirt back for this weekend, and that was my only chance to pick it up. I am never using this place again, and I do not recommend anyone else to use it either- terrible service. You can't just not open when you say you're supposed to be open.

Brides maid dress needed several things done. Mimi said come back in two weeks. Came back and dress not done, told her I will come back in two days. Dress still not done! She took 5 customers before me and said " just a minute I just have to fix something". I waited for 1.5 hours with my children because she didn't have my dress done. I gave her two weeks and two days and all she said was "she got backed up with so many dresses". She wanted to give me a small discount which was insulting to me for all I'd been through. I had to make two extra trips and wait with my children for the work to get done! No phone call was made, owner didn't even tell me the second time that it wasn't done and then I had to wait. Uneceptable!! Don't go to this place, they obviously can't handle the work that they get.
