Tanabe Research Laboratories is dedicated to the discovery and early-stage development of innovative biological drugs that will improve the lives of patients around the world. Established in 1994, Tanabe Research Laboratories is an independent subsidiary of Japan-based Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharmaceutical Corp. Our focus is creating safe and effective therapies for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Following the merger of Mitsubishi Pharmaceutical Corporation and Tanabe Pharmaceuticals, Tanabe Research Laboratories in 2010 transitioned into a biologics-driven research facility concentrating on oncology and other diseases with unmet clinical needs. Since then, we have expanded to encompass not only research activities, but also early-stage clinical evaluation of therapeutic drugs. In addition to our internal drug development activities, we actively partner with pharmaceutical companies and research organizations.
