Kate and Jayme were a phenomenal duo to work with throughout my pregnancy. I loved the hour-long prenatal chats and looked forward to that point when visits increase in frequency simply because that meant more midwife time! They both answered my email asking for advice on what to pack "just in case" remedy-wise for a babymoon trip to Costa Rica which I loved -- what OB would do that?! My normal and healthy pregnancy ended unexpectedly early, and they were both there to support us as plans quickly changed, and in the NICU days and postpartum weeks that followed. I didn't get the birth that I wanted, but I still fully value the care and compassion that Tandem Midwifery gave to me during this big transition into motherhood. Plus, how cute are their new mama-bear shirts & onesies?!

Kate and Jayme, with Tandem Midwifery are highly skilled professionals, who deliver (ha ha, get it?) competent and compassionate care during the prenatal/birthing/postpartum time. Both Kate and Jayme are approachable, kind, have a fantastic sense of humor, and most importantly they go to great measures to help us women create optimal health and preparation for birthing at home. Even when my plan didn't go as expected, they skillfully recognized a situation which necessitated a visit to the hospital. They are well respected at St. Davids, where I had to transfer. They helped us to the hospital and stayed with my husband and I for 36 hours, in total, and about 42 pots of coffee :). I am so thankful they were with us through our journey to welcome our son, Emory, who is healthy and smiling, due to Kate and Jayme's good care and guidance. We will be calling them again if/when we are blessed with another opportunity to welcome another family member!
