Dr. Vijay is fine, except for a few comments expressing disbelief that my previous doctors had allowed me to make my own health decisions. Otherwise, he generally listens, answers questions in detail, and does not rush. 4 stars for him. The 2 star review because I had to report my card stolen after they demanded to have it on file in case of insurance not paying or whatever. Instead of sending a bill like a normal office, they're going to just charge my card (after sending me a letter) up to $1200 (or some other stupid high number). Another office policy is to not issue refunds of overpayments. So unless you're paying close attention to your mail and email, don't use them, since they'll send you a note informing you that they owe you money, so that you can *request* to be refunded. What kind of shady institution doesn't automatically refund people when their account has been overpaid? I would have walked out of the office after being told that I had to leave my credit card on file, but I didn't know how long my coverage would last (it was 2017 and I was on an ACA plan). So I sucked it up and reported the card stolen immediately after leaving. I sent them a long note informing them of my dissatisfaction and never heard back.

I was referred here by my family doctor. I had found out I was pregnant with my first child later last year and had the most difficult time scheduling an appointment at my last OB/GYN Doctor. I was on the verge of tears because I didn’t know what my next steps were and thank goodness I was referred to Triangle Physicians for Women. The service is amazing every appointment I’ve had and they are so organized and have made me feel so comfortable. I have to thank them for making this pregnancy so much smoother and less stressful than it would have been had I stayed with my previous doctor. I highly recommend this place!

I had a very bad experience delivering my baby. I told Sarah several times that I didn’t want a c-section. Everything was normal with my pregnancy, but she insisted that the baby was too big and I that I needed to be induced. I had gestational diabetes, but I followed a strict diet. The baby was 8 lbs when he was born. I was induced 2 weeks before my due date even though I wanted to wait a least one more week, but apparently, my plans didn’t fit her schedule. A couple hours after I was induced, she forced my water broken. I got to the hospital at 6 am on a Friday and was in labor for about 30 hours. My baby was in my belly for about 24 hours with my water broken. I underwent a lot of pain and frustration. The induction process started with oxytocin vía IV. After about 7 hours of intense pain, I got an epidural that only worsened my pain. After the whole 30 hours trying to deliver my baby, they decided to perform a c- section. After that, I was at the hospital for 5 days, and had the slowest recovery ever. After 3 months I was still in pain. On top of that, my insurance was charged an outrageous amount of money, and I was changed the copay twice, but they ended up refunding one of the charges. I check my whole pregnancy with Sarah, and she didn’t even bother to pass by my room after the c-section. I was confused and had many questions.

I had a bad delivery experience with Midwife Mary Charles. I was induced at the WakeMed Cary hospital and she was in a rush to deliver my baby within 3hours of being induced. I wanted to stick with my birth plan but she did not respect it and pressured me into breaking my water... I postponed it for hours but then finally went by what she told me. I was fine with taking pains for as long as I could but she kept forcing me every 1 hour to break my water. She made comments like “You are here to deliver, let’s get it done”. Eventually she broke my water and then I had to get a C-section. She was in a rush to get my baby out. Don’t know what was her interest. My baby was completely fine, in fact the nurse in my room also said that the baby is happy and doing fine but Mary did not listen. I wanted to wait till the next day but she created all situations so I could just get done with delivering my child. I knew I wanted to wait and have a vaginal delivery but that wasn’t important for her. She just wanted the job done! She took away the birthing experience from me and I hate to say but she is one of the worst medical professional I have met. She may have lots of experience but for me, it was horrible working with her. I will not forgive her for what she did. In fact she did not even come say hello after C-section was done. It was just a job for Mary but for me it was going to be an experience. I have had good experience working with midwife April, Heather and Doctor V but do not see Mary Charles. I do not recommend this practice because of my experience with Mary Charles.

I have been seeing Dr. Grana for just about 4 years now and I must admit that she has been the very best OB I have ever had! She is so personable, friendly, and all around caring about her patients. I've never had any issues with the staff, the office is very clean, and if Dr. Grana is running behind, they let me know ahead of time. I highly recommend Dr. Grana and this office to anyone!

Phew... this is a tough one to rate! The staff is friendly and seems competent but is grossly overshadowed by the most unbelievable time management skills. I have worked in physicians offices, hospitals and personally held my own appointments and have never seen anything quite like this. I assume when making an appointment for a specific time that my time will be acknowledged and respected and this is most certainly not the case at TP4W! I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and my last two appointments have been delayed without much explanation. My husband leaves work and I have to bring our 2 year old son to appointments so not only am I inconvenienced but my whole family is as well! Our last appointment we waited 50 minutes to be seen for our Ultrasound and then another 20 minutes to see the provider. Not only am I dissapointed by waiting but it was our big anatomy scan and was rushed through by the ultrasound tech. Their terrible mismanagement of time led to my family being robbed of what was supposed to be a truly special experience getting to see our little girl. The worst part about this is that this isn’t the first time we’ve been treated this way. The appointment prior we waited 25 minutes for Ultrasound and 45 minutes to see the provider! I have even had a co-worker who also uses TP4W who left her appointment after almost an hour without ever being seen. The providers do well but the office needs a serious change! Disappointed to say the very least!

I have been going to TP4W since 2010/11 and could not be happier. The staff, nurses, midwives, and doctors are all amazing. I have 2 sons, both delivered via cesarean by Dr. V. Every visit and every provider did everything in their power to give me the birth experience I wanted, and also ensure that myself and my babies were safe and healthy. Dr. V even did everything in his power to help me avoid my first c-section and VBAC with the second, but that turned out to be out of his hands and he was the absolute best surgeon. With my two pregnancies, I experienced a few scares and some unusual circumstances that would be too long and too private to write in a review, but every single hurdle was handled with grace, honesty, and professionalism. I am so thankful for the recommendation from a friend to come to this office. I can't imagine ever going to another practice.

TP4W is amazing and I am so very thankful I found them 9 years ago!! Amazing partnership between midwives and doctors, sweet nurses and front end staff, and relaxing environment. I literally recommend them to all my friends! I look forward to my appointments and feel like I'm going to catch up with old friends.

I’d give 0 stars if possible. They require a card on file for any payments up front, which would be fine, but they constantly alter the signed payment arrangements. Then, you will see random charges consistently added to your card account without any information other than “we have billed your card account”. (This is after everything has been settled per billing department.) Plus, we had a question regarding a blood thinner my wife was put on and despite two trip to the office and several calls, we finally were able to get an option to schedule an appointment after three weeks (had to wait an additional two weeks after that.) Best part, we were referred to a specialist who had no explanation why we were referred or ever put on that medicine. I would suggest looking elsewhere if at all possible. Also, if you read additional reviews as I should have, their shady extra payments is not a rare occurrence.
