Company Description

Named after The Irish Times newspaper, the pub was opened on November 4th, 1995 by James McGurrin Sr. who had spent many years working as a printer for the newspaper in Ireland. Shortly thereafter his son James Jr. and wife Dolores carried on the management of the authentic Irish Pub and made it the Palms neighborhood hangout that it is today.

Service is excellent even when they are busy. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.

Good local pub with decent food. I tend to go during the off hours in the late afternoon. There is a good group of regulars, which always to me signals a mark of quality. Decent selection of taps and a nice selection of whisky. There is one pool table and a darts board and some tvs. They also have trivia and live music at various points during the week. I'm not sure what it says about me, but its probably my most productive place to work on my dissertation!

Not sure what went wrong, did a search for a specific NFL team's bar... This is very clearly a Bears' pub (not the team I searched for). But Lord love 'em, the staff and clientele were all very accommodating to us fans of the opposing team. *Edit once the food arrived: seriously decent grub, and service was above and beyond. Mackenzie (sp?) was very hospitable, even checking on previously tapped kegs to ensure we had some fresh Smithwick's.

I visit this place a lot since I work right next to it. I got to say their service is always great and they keep the place well organized at all times. Prices are convenient and they serve large portions.

It was so tasty. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. It has a great interior. Feeling here is similar to a cafe in San Jose I liked.
